Atlona AT-HDMI61 is a high performance HDMI switcher with remote. Simply pressing a button on the remote you can select your desired HDMI source to be routed to a high definition display. Switcher is tested to guarantee resolution up to 1080p without signal degradation. HDMI repeater technology is built-in for long output cables. If your cable runs over 15ft distance then with regular switch you would get signal degradation; however with AT-HDMI61 signal can be amplified to go over 60ft.

The next step was to unscrew and open up the end of the power cable to see what's inside.

I rarely get the chance to catch the sunrise but every now and then my body will decide that getting up at 0400AM or earlier for no discernible reason is 'what we’re doing today!'. So I went to do some ‘mirin of the Croydon skyline and also took some dodgy photos on my phone.
The edges (especially on cables and power lines) always come out oversharp - there seems to be some unsharp filter built into the S5’s native camera app that I can’t turn off and that I have not worked out how to properly correct for in post :'(
INSERTING THE LONG-PIN
I used my knees to hold the pedal together (it held the spring down!).
I then started to slide the long pin back in - and from this angle I could see the little holes to line everything back up nicely.
At one end the pin has a head (like on a nail or a screw) which stops it falling out of place. At the opposite end the pin is held in place by a small circular clip which slots around a thin narrow -groove on the pin. This clip springs into place tightly, and cannot be accidentally removed.
To remove the clip, I inserted a small flat headed screwdriver into this gap, and gently twisted it to open up the gap and clip slide-off easily!

CRIMP EYELETS
These tiny metal fittings are compressed closed over the ends of each wire. Then small screws through each eyelet opening attach the wires securely to the terminals.
Then, I took the 'Clear Plastic Sheath' off of the old cable, placing it the same way onto the newly trimmed cable. And, then I put the new cable back into the white casing, screwing the wires back into the terminals in the same location as the old cables.
Then, as my next stage was to install the new 'On/Off' Through Power Switch, I screwed everything back together on this part (so that I wouldn't accidentally pull the carefully placed wires out of place or loose any of the dinky little screws!)
My power lead/cable is wired for UK mains electricity:-
BLUE cable = NEUTRAL
BROWN cable = LIVE
(And, where applicable GREEN, or GREEN/YELLOW stripes = EARTH)
