it was almost thirty years ago... i had a home... in a beautiful village of Shoriatpur, beside the mighty Padma ... i had everything... lands, farms, house.. everything one need...
but it was not everything for me...
once i came to Dhaka.. the city... the mega-city... moved here and there... just for a visit...
accidentally i came in this place... it seemed interesting to me... young people practice sculpture, painting, sketch here... i was one of the curious audience of their work...
I had nice time here... so i started to come here regularly... just to see their works...
how they give life on blank papers, canvas... how bring out shapes with woods or stones...
i became a familiar face among them... and it happened suddenly... one asked me to become a model of his portrait... i couldn't resist him... i sat down with the posture... and that's the start...
I left home for this... just as i enjoyed the work... the posture...
it's not pecuniary.. i swear... they keep me alive with there love...
it sooth my mind when a painter/artist come back here after decades and find me to say hello... i am living here for them... for their love...

...should be avoided when taking pictures as they may cause heart attacks...in middle aged photographers.
There is always some competition for does going on in the fall. I've seen these two do it a lot, but they never fight.
Our beautiful world, pass it on.

The outer feathers of the cormorant are not waterproof allowing them to forage underwater. It has been suggested that the wing-spread posturing is to dry the outer feathers.
The Weimaraner is a large dog that was originally bred for hunting in the early 19th century. Early Weimaraners were used by royalty for hunting large game such as boar, bear, and deer. As the popularity of large game hunting began to decline, Weimaraners were used for hunting smaller animals like fowl, rabbits, and foxes.
The Weimaraner is an all-purpose gun dog. The name comes from the Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, Karl August, whose court, based in the city of Weimar (now in the state of Thuringia in modern-day Germany), enjoyed hunting.

Three Robins in one garden at this time of year causes a bit of tension! Lots of posturing and chasing ensued, fortunately violence was avoided on this occasion :-)
Pigeon Posture is all about hips; if you are sitting at a desk, traveling in a car, train or plane, walking, running-- releasing and opening the hip joints and the areas surrounding those tight and achy hips will require some serious release and opening. This pose is the key go-to posture along with many others which we practice all week long, so don't wait for another week, month, season, year to fly by -- take care of your body & mind today!
The TDSB runs a camp for grades 6,7 & and 8 kids to improve their music skills and have fun too. Grace participated in the strings programme this year, had violin lessons for 4 hours a day, made a bunch of new friends, had a wonderful time and improved incredibly. It's been around a year since we became Canadian and picking my kid up from camp yesterday really made me feel like we'd arrived.
Detail of a block-long mural seen in the "Mile of Murals" project along the Red Line El tracks in the Rogers Park area of Chicago, Illinois.
An Eagle owl of my friends in full threat posture. (He saw our cat and it scared him!!! Which is funny because he can catch preys up to 4 times the size of our cat)
Not my best picture, since these were the first shots I took with my DSLR (without previous experience with a good camera). I released this one to Wikimedia commons under Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license.
