Amiens - La Cathedrale - the Cathedral, from a booklet of pre-WW1 postcards bought at an English car boot sale. It could have been bought by a tourist as a souvenir of their visit, either before the war to remember what they'd seen, or after the war, as a contrast with the ruins they would have seen. It might also have been bought by a soldier who fought in that area - did he bring the booklet back as a souvenir... or did he intend using them to contact his family from the front, but he became a casualty, and they were returned, unused to his family along with any other personal possessions?
