Inspiration from last year's swap I never uploaded :)

"Father Murphy" was on the air for only two years (1981-1983). This was post marked some time in 1982, Van Nuys, CA.

A postcard sized paper sculpture for the post card exhibition in the suface gallery

Taken at different time of the day so the difference in lighting...

This is my post card for Ellen...but, does it need another palm tree?? I know the rule is odd #'s....should I tuck a smaller one on the right...bottom center?? I feel bad that I'm late with the first card of my swap, but I want it to be a good one as well. As you can see I'm still obsessed with palm trees and reflections*L*......;)

Post card for Himalayan House in Washington DC

So our school does this thing where all the art kids make art (either paint, collage, photograph, draw, etc) on 4x6 postcards and sell them in a post card show @ school. I did photography obviously because its an easy sell. Usually our post card show is the best seller from all our art shows.

Less clouds and humidity meant a less dramatic sunset tonight. So I decided to try a different composition and include more of the Gulf of Mexico and less sky.

What's interesting is that I could not get the horizon level and there appears to be some curve distortion. Do any of the more technical photographers have an explanation for this? My lens is a ES-F 17-55mm and the focal length was at 17mm.

Thanks for looking. I appreciate feedback.

This is my first post card holder, commissioned by a lady who needed it for her upcoming shows. I really enjoyed making this piece.

To end up this 2010 vacations set, a post card picture of the Eiffel Tower.

Today the French love this monument, but, at the time of it's construction, the french people didn't quite like it. It was "too modern" for them.

This is a first in our Fountain Pen group. Gavin has organized a post card exchange - which was great fun. The Scandinavian blue glass reflected in the water is beautiful and the two knitted peas in the patch are comical... I'd do it again ;-)

post card I'm gonna give out at the west hollywood book fair, assuming they turn out alright.

This is an older piece of art, but I still dig it. From back when I drew, almost exclusively, people with light bulbs for heads. Don't know what's up with that.

Here is a gift from me to you. Your very own post card, coming all the way from beautiful spice isle Grenada. I hope life affords you a trip to my side of the world one day.

Crossed this desert midday at 120 degrees. Am told the desert presents an altogether different aspect at night. Expect to go on a camping trip up the coast and around to Lake Tahoe on the Nevada line. Wonderful hospitality for the asking. Whit
