La magia ci avvolse e cominciammo a suonare per tutta la notte finchè il fuoco non ci abbandonò ed il fumo nel camino svanì lasciandoci avvolti in una nebbia di felicità che colmò i nostri cuori...
Grazie Lucy, grazie Katia!
a series I did for my Problem Solving Final that deals with my daily effort to stay positive about my body.
One positive trend coming out of the pandemic is how many new people have discovered spending time in the outdoors as a getaway. Camping numbers are way up! And while that means demand is up too, the outdoors are big and I’m sure there’s room for all of us. Getting back to nature has so many wonderful benefits. This shot is from one of my family’s COVID camping trips.

Negative: Pelegry process. Canson marker paper. Developed in gallic acid. Waxed.
Positive: Salt print on Arches Platine 310g paper. Iodized (floated) with ammonium chloride/sodium citrate/gelatin.
I'm having problems getting good iodizer when floated for the salt print. Resulting in weak contrast, but this one it seemed to work for the image. The problem in these dry winter days is with excessive curling of the paper when floated so its hard to get an even coating. Does anyone have a trick to help? Thanks.

Though many of us consider wildfires to be adverse, the positive impact on the environment cannot be over looked. Among other things, wildfires result in removal of old growth that can choke out desirable trees. During a wildfire, nutrients are released into the soil by burning dead or decaying matter. In turn, the added nutrients results in productive new plant growth.
However, statistics show that four out of five wildfires are started by humans. I think it is best to let Mother Nature determine its own course in this matter.

Once again I'm finding I like the negative images better than the positive conversions. I'm not sure what that says about my photos or brain.
Mom, Frances Tuzzolino, in her prom dress in our yard by the kitchen's mini rose bush. Boro Park Brooklyn NY. Taken by our relative Tony Mistretta 4x5 Professional Color Slide - likely Ektachrome. The picture was severely faded. I worked on it for a hour. This is a scanned 8x10 print where the black border actually exists as a result of the transfer positive color printing process. I left it in to preserve the tell-tale technical nature of this late 1940s slide print. This was most likely printed by a Manhattan-class wedding/special occasion lab. Tony and Uncle Al had friends in that industry.
I don't see "KODAK" anywhere on the print. To fully appreciate the photograph's and my Mother's beauty, see the larger size. Thanks for stopping by. ANOTHER ONE * www.flickr.com/photos/badwsky/2965558263/in/set-721576038... ANOTHER ONE * www.flickr.com/photos/badwsky/2051268967/in/set-721576038...

I want use the negative and positive relation within film to show how it reflects my current feelings towards being back home, work and relationships. In the recent past I feel like I haven’t had control over my life and these feelings rush at me like a whirlwind to leave me not being able to decipher the difference of what is actual negative or positive actions.
