In the moment when all you can see is a negative image, there you'll find a positive sign ahead.

It is as if my life were magically run by two electric currents: joyous positive and despairing negative - whichever is running at the moment dominates my life, floods it.

I took this picture with my EMF imaging camera and realized how crazy the radiation from power lines really is! (actually it's a cell phone picture processed in Deep Art Effects program)

*Working Towards a Better World

Our country seems to be in a dark place at this time. We are all Americans no matter what our colour, ethnicity, race, belief or gender is. It is time to stop the hate, start the love, embrace our differences and work together to sort out our very real problems. With respect, understanding, determination and hard work we can resolve our problems and live and work together in friendship and harmony. We need to stop the fear, the slander that is being flown around, the greed, the inequality and start working towards equality for everyone!

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom.

The flags do not carry prayers to gods, which is a common misconception; rather, the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space.

This lovely creature was in a faerie book I came across. I believe his name was the 'Positive Pixie'. I think he was slightly smaller in the book, so I drew him larger, and with different shadowing.

I love his eyes!

Think Positive

by: Unknown

If you think you are beaten, you are.

If you think you dare not, you won't.

Success begins with your own will...

It's all in your state of mind.

Life's battles are not always won

By those who are stronger or faster;

Sooner or later the person who wins

Is the person who thinks he or she can

That the moon is made of green cheese:)

Wishing all my friends, old and new, an enjoyable day and a safe and happy weekend! Be positive, and take some pictures! You really otter!

Speaking of otters, don't get a pet otter - the 2 otters at the Pittsburgh Zoo (there may be a third now, a baby) cost about US $40,000/year to feed. Only the best seafood for them! No wonder they're happy!

I'm going to try and post a positive each time I post this year because I am so fed up with only hearing bad news.

Today was the first full me day since Christmas eve and as is the norm the weather changed. Well it had to rain drizzle all day, didn't it.

My first job of the day was to drive the girls to work and then get my shoes repaired. These shoes needed new heels as one had broken in half, as the heel itself is hollow I didn't think it could be done. Good news the guy repaired them.

And so I went on my merry way. Later in the day, I parked the car and got out, walking around to the back. I noticed a lady walking a dog 🐕 on the other side of the road. As I was putting my coat on she stopped and shouted across the road to me.

"Just wanted to say your skirt is gorgeous the way it moves is marvellous"

Wasn't expecting that. Of course I blushed and said thank you and walked off with a spring on my step.

So a nice little event to brighten a dull day. Even my mum said she liked my hair.

Still many MANY photos from weeks and months ago I haven't gotten to yet. Good heavens, what I have I gotten myself into?!

😉

Speaking of attitude, I simply MUST share a YouTube video. It is completely off-topic, but I was absolutely amazed and astounded at this tornado footage, and I expect you will be too. 😲

Just another day in Texas: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU3A25IOoEk

Damn...they sure grow 'em tough down there! I guess the guy is saying at the end "Listen here, If you're done messin' around, me and my Chevy are gonna mosey on down the road. Gotta see a man about a horse."

Un-freakin' believable!

Macro Mondays: Opposites. Back when I shot a lot of 4X5 film I would often shoot slide film and black and white negative film of the same subject.

An extremely powerful bolt of lightning lights up the Arizona sunset some 80 miles away. The antennae in the foreground is nearly 40 miles distant.

Really enjoyed doing another negative colour scheme on this one

A street portrait of a young lady of an unmatched beauty made of flashing glance and contagious smile. Charming blonde angel. Or maybe not an angel at all. But highly positive and open-hearted. May the happiness be with her.
