This place shows me light. Even when things get stressful it has allowed me to take my time and to not overthink. As the title says observe the positives. You can either view this picture as lonely or you can see it as a getaway! But, that's up to you.

Mural entitled "Future Positive" by Kevin Ledo aka @kevinledo and @findac, curated by @therawproject_, seen at the Cheltenham Elementary School at 1580 Julien Street in Denver, Colorado.

The artist (Kevin Ledo) states: "On the right is Rihelle, a student that goes to the school that I photographed for this piece. On and the left is one of Fin’s muses, @christel_lakhdar who shares a resemblance which creates a beautiful narrative."

In the moment when all you can see is a negative image, there you'll find a positive sign ahead.

Bussing around Russia is of course, no different to anywhere else.

This lovely creature was in a faerie book I came across. I believe his name was the 'Positive Pixie'. I think he was slightly smaller in the book, so I drew him larger, and with different shadowing.

I love his eyes!

Think Positive

by: Unknown

If you think you are beaten, you are.

If you think you dare not, you won't.

Success begins with your own will...

It's all in your state of mind.

Life's battles are not always won

By those who are stronger or faster;

Sooner or later the person who wins

Is the person who thinks he or she can

That the moon is made of green cheese:)

I'm going to try and post a positive each time I post this year because I am so fed up with only hearing bad news.

Today was the first full me day since Christmas eve and as is the norm the weather changed. Well it had to rain drizzle all day, didn't it.

My first job of the day was to drive the girls to work and then get my shoes repaired. These shoes needed new heels as one had broken in half, as the heel itself is hollow I didn't think it could be done. Good news the guy repaired them.

And so I went on my merry way. Later in the day, I parked the car and got out, walking around to the back. I noticed a lady walking a dog 🐕 on the other side of the road. As I was putting my coat on she stopped and shouted across the road to me.

"Just wanted to say your skirt is gorgeous the way it moves is marvellous"

Wasn't expecting that. Of course I blushed and said thank you and walked off with a spring on my step.

So a nice little event to brighten a dull day. Even my mum said she liked my hair.

This image of complementary colors is made for We're Here! as they look for Positive/Negative Space.

The last photo of my series: a drity, giant (child-eating-?) mashine made of steel and other things!? Thanks for all the views, favs and comments, I am very happy about the positive echo! The next series is already in planning ;) Germany 11/02/2018 at 08:53 am.

About the series (to which the Photo above belongs)

My dear Flickr-Friends, my dear unknown Flickr-User,

First, I would like to mention: “Mettwurst is a strongly flavoured German sausage, made from raw minced pork which is preserved by curing and smoking, often with garlic. The southern German variety is soft and similar to Teewurst.” (Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mettwurst)

Second, I want to amplify: During the last years I had my camera very often with me. An immense amount of photos have been shot, most of them rather unplanned on walks through my hometown. With the series I would like to present a few of my personal favorites (most of them are less than one year old). As the subtitle promises: the Photos show undoubtedly/exclusively trivial things.

Fuck you reality, fuck you so much, I want to be cheated!

About the post-processing

For editing I've used the Lightromm plug-in "Silver Efex Pro 2". More precisely: Preset "Film Noir 3" as a basis (nr. 32), but with some modifications. Apart from other small corrections (eg in contrast or exposure) I removed the artificial grain and the frame of the preset and I added a blue toning for all the photos of the series. And: For almost all photos I used a green or blue color filter.

The only requirement, as you can see, to play basketball on the third grade team at St. Ann's. Also thought by many to be as helpful as Advil in enduring life's ups and downs. No one can surpass this little girl's attitude or courage.

Really enjoyed doing another negative colour scheme on this one

During these grey and freezingly cold days I desperately want to return back to the paradise...

Fate quindi attenzione all'uso del fuxia. Lo stesso vale per quanto citato sopra riguardo al colore delle camere da letto: con il fuxia potreste ritrovarvi a star svegli tutta la notte o a svegliarvi di frequente.
