Since resuming my at-home physio band exercises for my hip nearly 4 months ago, I was finally starting to feel "almost there." i.e. the hip discomfort had downgraded from constant frustration to occasional annoyance. Then, 3 weeks ago I finally dragged my butt to the yoga mat in a clawing need for actual physical activity that wasn't just walking. WOWZA. I think these last 3 weeks have done more than the entire 3 months previous. It's the closest to normal my body has felt maybe since last fall, and I can feel all my muscles all over the place being pulled into action.

Fingers and toes are all crossed I can keep this up and that running will not be far behind.

Sekar K - "I come from a good family but my father became a drunkard. He sold the family property and we became poor. As the eldest, it was my responsibility to take care of the family. After standard eight I had to go to work. I finally became a truck driver. I was single and worked hard and earned well. In this time I twice went with a commercial sex worker. Eventually I married and had a child. After my child was born I had a recurrence of a Sexually Transmitted Disease. I went for treatment and had an HIV test, which was positive. My wife has also been diagnosed as positive, but my child who is now four is clear. I am angry with my father, that because of his drinking, I had to give up my education, became a driver and became infected. I want to learn the traditional healing methods. My goal in life is to work with traditional healers to collectively find a cure."
