I don't know how that happen but I really like this picture. The footprint looks like the Jaguar is walking under the mud!!!!

Don't know why (it's the 6 Sigma Black Belt in me I guess) but I look at this image and am reminded of an exercise from my 6 Sigma training where we needed to define the correlation. This is a positive one, Note the distinct upward left to right trend of the flowers with a handful of outliers ;-)

This was shot during the Peoria Flickr Meetup at the Luthy Botanical Gardens. I had a great time and thought I would come home with a number of great shots. In camera they looked good... out of camera they were a bit softer then I liked. This autofocus thing drives me nuts and the XT viewfinder does not let me manually focus all that well apparently. I'll blame the photographer and not the camera but it's still a bit frustrating.

Other then crop which is a weird one for me since most of mine are 5x7 or 8x10 I didn't do much. It seems to be a common theme these days the, "not much" line. I did drop the black levels down a bit to let the flowers pop a bit more. A little sharpening to attempt to fix my focus challenges and voila! The completed pic.

Há o tempo de plantar e o tempo de colher. Todos nós temos presa para viver, nunca de morrer. Temos tempo para a internet, para um amigo, para brincar, para trabalhar, mas nunca temos tempo para parar e ajudar. Temos tempo para ver TV, ler jornais, um bom livro, mas nunca tempo para ler um pedido de ajuda.
Mas há quem não tem mais tempo. Quem não teve tempo de plantar. Quem mal tem tempo para brincar. Quem mal vai ter tempo de dizer: “Eu te amo mamãe, papai!!!”. Porque em algum lugar alguém não teve tempo para parar e ler essa mensagem, para procurar saber do que se tratava, sobre quem se estava falando, de procurar saber como poderia ajudar; já que quem deveria ajudar não acha tempo para isso, porque não acha importante, porque é um investimento que não tem retorno no curto espaço de tempo ou porque acha que seu tempo é valioso demais para gastar com quem não tem tanto tempo de vida assim.
Pare um momento. Procure se informar, ler, ajudar. Quem já conta os segundos para a despedida final vai agradecer de coração por esses poucos instantes de tempo, que você dedicou a elas.
Não deixe que o relógio das vidas delas pare só porque você não queria perder tempo. Ajude!!! Divulge!!! Dê corda nesses pequenos relógios de vida.

When I first saw this popping out of the the preview of Mandelbulb3D I was excited about the forms against the yellow background. It wasn't until it was half rendered that I saw that the yellow was not a background. It is the part of the objects in the picture that project beyond the picture plane. The color is arbitrary, or perhaps it is better to say that it is the color that is in a certain plance in the color table for the image. What I saw as te other objects are simply the objects that do not intersect the picture plane. The interesting thing about the yellow shaps is that they are shot through wiith tiny geometric lines These lines actually define narrow spaces between small objects that make up the big objects. They show a complex "internal structure" for the yellow objects. In this structure we find our old friend the Mandelbrot set. You can look that up.
