‘A picture tells a thousand words’ is the premise of our exciting, new online exhibition that places people at the heart of the curatorial journey. A Thousand Words, marks our first collaboration with another one of Australia’s leading cultural institutions; Sydney Living Museums and features 100 of the most compelling photographic images from our collections.
Unlike conventional curated exhibitions, A Thousand Words invites the public to respond to these extraordinary images of people, places and events in NSW spanning 100 years from 1880 – 1980.

I, of course, ramped up my shutter speed and waited for a really sunny day before heading out to capture my quarry. I may post several more of these over the next few days.

Hamilton Pool is one of the best swimming holes in Texas - and a great place to picnic, swim, and spend some time on the hot Texas summers.
