"Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way. There were voices down the corridor, I thought I heard them say" - The Eagles.
A ceramic pachyderm, looking into the swimming pool.
The swimming pool is 65 feet long and 9 feet deep at one end.
It was built during the winter of 1937-38 and cost $20,000.00.
The house was built by Asa Tift, a marine architect (and Confederate mariner), in 1851. In 1931 Hemingway purchased it and lived here with his second wife, Pauline, and their two sons until 1939.
Here, Hemingway completed the final draft of "A Farewell to Arms," as well as "The Snows of Kilimanjaro" and "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber".
Totally focused on avoiding an embarrassing pratfall, as Ash held the door for me on the outside, i had already forgotten the Macra-monster. At the billiard table, a congenial little cadre of local pool sharks, well into their warm-up routine of beer, brats, boasts and belly-laughs, turned to take in the impending comedic moment. ."Home free," i thought, after deftly maneuvering up the inclined floor. Wrong.
"Nice....uhhh...bag, man! " the jolliest of the four chuckled, but his attention quickly shifted to Ashley's entrance, stage left. "Do you really like it...a lot ?," she asked in her most enthusiastic tone. "Because it's for sale , at the right price, you know. He clearly didn't know where to go with this now and managed only a weak "uuuuhhh.....", as the other 3 musketeers laughed uproariously. "Don't mind Hank, folks....he's here to learn how to be funny, and he's got a long way to go. I'm Ed and this here's Milo and Eugene," said the oldest of the group, as he lined up a tricky shot with his cue. "Say goodbye to your money Milo," he added casually. Of course, it would in and Milo was already digging in his wallet for a $5 bill.
The merry-makers invited us to join them for drinks and pool, and we were tempted, but it had been a very long day, so we agreed to share a table at breakfast instead. "We hear you're in the 'Honeymooner'....you'll get a kick outta that one, eh?" Eugene laughed, planting an unexpected weed in our perfect day.

Without a doubt swimming pool covers are one of the best inventions in pool technology. They help you save time and money by reducing maintenance, reducing water loss, reducing chemical usage and increasing heat retention.

Rock pool Sunrise.
Shot this down at the rock pool at Cronulla with my shooting buddy Sutto a couple of weeks ago.
Today, we packed up and headed to the club to chill by the pool. I was screwin around with my new lens and wanted to shoot a quick couple shots of Ethan. Problem was, I was kinda too lazy to get up from my comfy chair.
So I tossed on the 75-300mm on and caught this one shot. Now if you ever look through any of my shots, you'll NEVER see any SOOC shots. Well, except for a very minor crop, this is pretty good, so I left it SOOC. AND, I couldn't let it go, so then I cropped it and uploaded it again.
