Looking at the vintage postcard this shot was taken along the middle left side of the pool just beyond the diving area. The bath houses are in the background.
By this period the beach area also had more landscaping. And life was so uncrowded......

We got to go to grandma's neighbours pool again today, she left for the weekend and told us that we can use her pool as much as we want to.
My niece and nephews came over to go swimming in the pool. My niece was so brave, and showed up her older brother the whole day doing cannonballs and even learning how to dive. All while her step-father was waiting to catch her each and every time.

Eva Kate took swimming lessons and has learned to jump off the diving board and go under on her own. She did really great and really enjoyed it (despite how some of the pictures looked!!)
This is a Kingsway postcard published by W.H. Smith & sons and dates from about 1905. The view is looking east and downstream from London Bridge and the Belle steamer "Southwold Belle" is leaving its berth at Fresh Wharf which is just out of sight to the left in front of Adelaide Buildings. She was used primarily on the Great Yarmouth route, she certainly appears to be packed with passengers. In 1913 she was sold to an operator in Cherbourg and at the outbreak of the first world war she was commandeered by the French Navy and used in the Mediterranean as a troop and supply ship. After the war she was sold to an operator in Genoa where she was broken up in 1925.
