She struggled to blow on the dandelion heads so I ended up gathering the seeds and putting them in her cupped hands and I told her to blow them at the camera and I on the count of three. We didn’t time this very well but there are a few bits of white barely visible from when she blew them at me lol.
Recently I bought my most expensive second-hand camera thus far. It's a 1980's vintage Polaroid SLR 680, a single lens reflex foldable camera. So far I've been shooting four different film packs and I'm more than pleased with the result, so I thought I'd share them with you in the upcoming weeks and see what you think.
Taken with Polaroid SLR 680 analog camera. Impossible 600 instant film, black & yellow duochrome (Third Man Records Edition). Non-expired.

Obviously we’re in the summer season now but this was an homage to Spring and the earth awakening and the daffodils nodding their yellow heads in the warmer breezes. Or in this case, mayhap the vanity of Spring after a long cold winter?
Shot with my SLR-680 yesterday and discovered that the viewfinder is off. I took my time to line up everything straight, but they all cam off tilted. Fuck.
Compensated on this one, but still wound up with sideways parallax....

I snapped this one around the same time as Ring Pop and Pretzel Mouth. Something about the light getting hazy and dreamy in the summertime heat and I think I was trying to capture that.
Happy 'Roid Week!!! What a wonderful week it's been.
I went for a photo walk with my friend Heather T. this week, and we wandered in to Slowtrain, a really cool new and used record/cd store in downtown SLC. And the light that night was oh so nice.

No entry for the littlest of cowgirls at this rundown establishment on the side of the highway. Sadie and I stopped here randomly for a few minutes to snap this and another Polaroid. She’s always been a cowgirl at heart!
Some crackly bits of dried wood in the forest near Elveden in Suffolk.
First try with the First Flush edition of the Impossible Project's PX600. Mine had slight LLP issues (chemicals squeezing out the back), and possibly the warm weather is causing the muddiness in the mid-tones. Sharp where it needs to be, though!

I'm one of those people whose neutral face looks mad/sullen. But I'm notttttt. Not right now, anyway.
