I'm experiencing a bit of a conundrum. Lately, I am liking Polaroid photos so much more without the you-know-it's-Polaroid-because-of-the-border border but the problem I'm having is that I feel like without the border, some of the oh-so-Polaroid aesthetic is lost. Does anyone have an opinion? Border or no border?
My daisies out front finally popped! I've been meaning to get out and shoot them every night for a week, but I've either been playing disc golf in the park down the street or staying late at work, so today, on this lovely Fourth of July holiday, I rolled out of bed and ran outside to shoot. Happy Independence Day!

first time in Amsterdam and i loved it! beautiful city, great people, and food and drinks, and all around a very nice place to visit
My cousin's son had a few temporary tattoos on Thanksgiving, and I wanted to take a photo of one on his arm. He had to be coaxed into even showing me his tattoos, so I shouldn't have been surprised that he pulled his sleeve down at the exact moment that I hit the shutter button! However, I still like this photo because I think the position of his arms somewhat conveys how shy he was about showing me his "ink."
(my Polaroid 680 is actually broken. I'll tell you about it one day and about how I'm managing to eke out a few more photos from it before I have to fill out a certificate of death on this camera.)
The Polaroid 680 SLR manual -- yes, mine came in the original box, with the manual and original neck strap -- said to use flash at all times. The manual is a lying sonoabitch.

my view as i was waiting for my flight in Portland back to Vegas. originally i was supposed to only stay 9 days, and ended up staying 3 weeks because the friend that i stayed with and myself tested positive for COVID. luckily i had zero symptoms and his were very mild. so i had to stay longer than expected but really glad i did
Boise at 6 in the morning.
I flew straight from Austin to Boise for school for four days, and as much as I wanted to be home, man I love Boise.
The sky was pretty cloudy so all but two of my Polaroids have washed out skies, but I didn't care. It was my SLR 680's first road trip and I was bound and determined to waste some film!
