Happy 'Roid Week Day 3!
I bought a pack of American Woods films last year and finally broke it open this past May. I took the Canyon Live Oak pack to Capitol Reef National Park. Such beautiful film, and that border - I love it.

I can never quite remember what photos await in a box to be scanned in. Sometimes I surprise myself with what I find. Do I know where this was taken? Nope. I have a general idea, but most likely I pulled over and snapped this shot of flowers on the side of a road somewhere in West Tennessee.

She helps feed the horse here and always has to sit on the hay in the little wagon.

Speaking of Siri (see the previous post for context), I met her in October of 2022. Five months later, she had shaved her head and looked completely different. It’s wild how easy it is to change sometimes. Some of the changes we can pull off, some weigh on us and we have to claw our way back to a semblance of what was, dragging along the memory of what we never want to do again. For Siri, she can pull off anything. I love this portrait like the last one, because she does all of the heavy lifting. I just had the privilege of witnessing the moment, and capturing it to share with you.
This is an outtake from my "Lost in Translation" concept for 12:12 Men a couple months ago. It feels right to post this now in the wake of what happened over the weekend in Orlando.

Saw this on the way back from a local farm upick event and had to snap a photo. I’m assuming a barn maybe? Possibly a house…

There is a park with a community garden in it and we enjoy visiting in any season. We came here with my mom not long after Dustin passed and a couple of butterflies kept landing on Sadie and I. Dustin liked to practice flying his drones here. We had hopes of somehow one day doing a little urban exploring next door. Never happened like a lot of things we thought we had more time for.
Pyramid Apricot Ale. It's the first beer I've ever had that I actually liked enough to keep drinking. This is monumental. Can't wait for a porch-sit tomorrow and more beer.
