The marker says "DC" on the left and "VA" on the right BUT DC, even based on the original 1791 boundary, would be on and across the river. The original 1791 southern cornerstone is between the lighthouse and the river.

A log jam on the first pitch. Point Five Gully can be a bad spot if you are at the back of the queue. Lots of potential for ice bombs from above.
The Crown Point Light on Lake Champlain at Crown Point enjoys the unique distinction of having been converted from a conventional lighthouse into a memorial to the exploration of the lake by Samuel de Champlain.

This enormous apartment building is 26 storeys high, rising 83 metres from the Blues Point peninsula in Sydney Harbour. The building dominates the landscape nearby.
