Ka Lae, also known as South Point, is the southernmost point of the Big Island of Hawaii and of the 50 United States.

Fluorite is available in a great variety of different colors. It has a cubic structure. It is known to have a matrix that "enhances", and an earth power that "brightens". Rainbow Fluorite may be used on the third eye chakra to bring energy to the whole system and replenish the body and spirit. It is used to calm and relax the body and mind and ease stress both physically and emotionally. Fluorite may be used in the bath to experience its calming and relaxing effects on the body. It is a perfect environmental crystal when placed in the home and garden area in the natural light and is known to glow and give off fluorescent light in different colors when exposed to ultraviolet(UV) rays.

These shades of green, blue and purple are linked to the throat, heart, and crown chakras. The colors of this crystal support the upper chakras and are of Openness(Blue), Growth & Awakening(Green) and Wisdom(Purple). This allows for a wonderful meditative state that brings a gentle flowing sense of peace to the whole system to better enable spiritual expansion.

Small collection of hall shots during Castle Point Anime Convention 2014. Did more impromptu shoots than hall shots this time around. Had a good time at this one hanging out with good friends, good people, good times.

The marker says "DC" on the left and "VA" on the right BUT DC, even based on the original 1791 boundary, would be on and across the river. The original 1791 southern cornerstone is between the lighthouse and the river.

A log jam on the first pitch. Point Five Gully can be a bad spot if you are at the back of the queue. Lots of potential for ice bombs from above.

Se baigner dans le bassin est 'fady' (tabou)

A shot from the jagged cliffs of Bass Point in Nahant, MA. Boston on the horizon. It was cloudy much of the day, which is usually a requirement for getting a good sunset. Unfortunately, most of time it also ends up as no sunset.

I've been feeling lately like I upload too many "fluff" shots... you know what I mean, when you don't have anything really great to upload, but you feel like should upload something. I kind of feel like this is one of those shots. I'm not really sure it works, it feels too right-heavy... like there's nothing of interest on the left side. But I needed a new upload to explain that I'm probably going to go through my older stuff again and delete whatever I don't like. It also means I might not upload as often, but really, I don't want to waste your time if I don't even think it's a very good shot.

I'm heading to World's End in Hingham tomorrow... hopefully something a bit better than this.

A lot of "happy little trees" spread out.

This is a location where I am sure I could get a truly great picture if I could come back again and again to check the changing light conditions here more often, alas it is over a 2 hour drive away.
