No. 1A Folding Pocket Kodak, Model D (1910)
Manufactured by Canadian Kodak Limited
The No. 1A Pocket Kodak was capable of taking 12 exposures, 2 ½ × 4 ¼ " sized, on No. 116 roll film.
The Kodak Company manufactured the 1A Special model between 1908 and 1912 with red bellows. Compact folding, measuring 8 x 2 x 3 3 /4 inches and weighing 26 ounces. Originally priced at $12.00.
With French plates imitating US ones.

Keeping my little PowerShot on hand sure paid off on this trip. I was able to leave my big lens on my Pentax DSLR, and shoot some wider landscapes with the G11. Worked a treat!

This is part of some newer construction in Bentonville. I was really attracted to the colors with the blue sky. I also really love the shadows in the dark gray area of the building. Makes for a lot of interest in a simple composition.

The view looking from east to west from the eastern headlands across to Caniçal, Madeira.
Taken with an Olympus XA on Fujicolor Superia Xtra 400 colour film, and developed and scanned by the good folk in Gunns on Wexford Street.
This mountain certainly lives up to its namesake. I spotted this on a hike to a waterfall with my dad and aunt on vacation this summer.

This is a camera I wanted for ages. I stayed patient and finally had someone offer me this one for sale for a good price. I promptly used it, then let it sit a while until vacation this year.
As you can likely tell from my XA album, I took it on vacation this year and really put it through the paces. Keep an eye out on my website for a review soon.
