A fun shot but quite a serious subject....

Taken with my new pocket camera and a little extra processing of the sky..

Lots more rain and flooding going on here, hope you are having better weather where ever you are friends...

Finally got to go ride my MTB again and broke my chain 😐. At least I got to ride for a bit before it let go. Then, I got some cool photos of my friend Josh.

Enjoying an evening stroll through a local nature reserve. Found these beautiful wild cranberries nestled in the green sphagnum moss. They taste especially sweet and delicious after the winter frosts!

I decided to bring along my old Canon Digital IXUS 90 IS alongside my main gear just to see if it still had some life in it.

I haven’t used this point-and-shoot since around 2010. I was surprised to find the battery still holds a charge and works perfectly!

It began to snow lightly while I was hiking with Morris.

Of course the camera I had handy was the Pink Fugly Old Pocket Camera.

This was on my morning walk to the ridge to get the previous day's mail.

I just took my little Canon ELPH camera with me and thought it would be a good challenge to get a shot of the sun rays through the fog in the trees.

This was one shot I was happy with.

When my mom was in town, we went to the Crystal Bridges museum in Bentonville. The way the light and architecture played together here near the gift shop was super interesting to me. Again, the Minox 35 proved itself to be a great little camera for outings like this!

A location where the very Earth beneath your feet seems to have been split and sundered by the gods always makes for breathtaking scenery. This was one such spot.

Massively cropped picture taken through a dirty window which turned out surprisingly well. The other 30 didn't. My wife asked if I had seen any birds making use of one of the bird feeding stations. We had just walked into the house and I spotted this fellow while she had popped upstairs. I fired off a huge number of shots and was able to show her this when she came down moments later. Ah the wonders of digital pocket cameras. Thank goodness I didn't have to go into my old darkroom and spend all day for one half decent shot.

This little trail follows quite a sheer cliff. I'm not one to investigate the edges of places like this, but it sure affords a nice view.

I took my friend Bill on this hike after an ice storm in February. At one of the trail junctions, we took a wrong turn but all ended well.

Yesterday we redid this hike and I got to show him what we missed.

During this pandemic, with all of us old 'farts' it seems prudent to be cautious.

We try to meet for a hike or bike ride once a week for fresh air and mindfulness.

I have 4 more trails to hike and then I can truthfully say that I have hiked all 50+ miles that exist in this place.

And old building in what probably used to be the heart of downtown Mill Shoals. It's one of those little towns that, if you blink, you'll probably miss it. I'll bet that old building has some stories to tell.

Managed to catch this neat angle of the light hitting Bentonville before some security guards came and asked us to not hang around the parking garage for too long. They were nice fellas, but it's kind of annoying that they felt the need to tell me not to hang around a public parking garage for more than a few minutes.

Also, it definitely seemed to put them in a better mood when they saw I was just using an old and tiny point and shoot camera 😂. I can only imagine that if I'd have had my D780 or F5 out, they may have been less friendly.

Low down angle of the tree line in the middle of the Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

It is the third year on my bike, also the third winter. This is real relaxation for me.

The Samara sedan was sold in France as SAGONA. In other export countries like Germany or the UK, it received other names like FORMA, DIVA, SALOON, etc.

On the photo, the car is already 21 years old but very well preserved. To the right, you can see a Lada Niva also parked. Ladas were very common spots in France since they were introduced in the early 1970s.
