Told you all I took a ton of pictures on my Sunday afternoon stroll. Seriously....tons! I loved the colors in these pink buds on one of the trees at the Botanical Gardens.
Pink Dahlia Hortensis
Dahlia is a genus of bushy, tuberous, perennial plants native to Mexico, Central America, and Colombia. There at least 36 species of Dahlia. Dahlia hybrids are commonly grown as garden plants. The Aztecs gathered and cultivated the dahlia for food, ceremony, as well as decorative purposes, and the long woody stem of one variety was used for small pipes.

Here's how my pink haired girl first looked. I repainted her about six or so months later. It's fun to see how far I've come. I tend to update some of my dolls as I improve. She's not to bad here, but looks much better now. I won't repaint her again though, as i'm happy with her.
