These flowers were growing in my mother-in-laws 'wild' garden, I have no idea what they are, anyone know?
Macro shot of a beautifully coloured, pink cornflower. The native British variety is blue (Centaurea Cyanus) and was a troublesome weed to farmers, but other colours, such as this pink, have been created and they are all appreciated as garden flowers and loved by wildlife.

Large pink Magnolia flower, which survived Storm Kate! Kew Gardens, London March 2016
Magnolia is an ancient genus. It is named after French botanist Pierre Magnol.
This electric pink beauty reminds me of a children's story
of a woman who lived in a little cottage.
It was kind of….well… a mess!
One day she put a vase of fresh flowers by the window…
oh how beautiful they looked!
the smile from the flowers
the fragrance
the color
Suddenly everything inside looked so shabby
so… she decided she needed to clean the windows
then she decided it was time for new curtains
Then the walls looked dingy
so she put fresh paint on the well
and one thing led to another…
because of the presence of a beautiful flower…
The first pink hibiscus image by "Pink Hibiscus" of 2015. I took this after some showers yesterday morning. It was probably
destroyed in the rainstorms last night.
dyed my hair with Beyond the Zone Raspberry Kamikazee dye last night. I love how bright it turned out BUT it bleeds everywhere :/ I have washed and rinsed my hair twice and its still coming out everywhere..bottom of my feet dyed pink, etc. I'm going to stick with my regular Ion Brilliance Brights in magenta from now on.
