Our apple tree is blooming...I love it so much...such beautiful flowers. The light is a bit harsh here, but I love the colors. Have a great Wednesday.

Subtle and unusual use of HDR

This unique viburnum cultivar blooms in late winter with fragrant, long lasting, rose pink flowers on bare, reddish bronze branches. Dark green foliage turns burgundy in fall.

I love this plant - it's the only thing blooming in my yard right now & it smells wonderful:)

I love pink lilies, they are one of my favorite flowers, photographing them is great and giving me lots of practice. Still need to practice my macro skills alot!

Pink rose at my garden

4 day weekend turned out to be nothing that I planned. Only got spend 2 hours in the yard as it rained most of Sun. and Mon. Thought we were looking for a couch, but bought 2 (funny story that will cost me dearly). After 18 years we do not have drapes in the living room (yeah!). It looks like the backyard is an extension of the living room.

Obviously not overly tired from big weekend.

Cherry trees are blossoming at the National Arboretum.

Here we see an example of a typical donut house. For some unknown reason they are almost always pink. Up to one dozen donuts may take up residence within.

The sun actually ... gasp! ... came out today. The fog came right back in about half an hour later, but even for that short period of time, sunshine was nice.

so much colour in the garden, just wanted to share some of the beauty grown in this garden in NW6 amazing!!
