I realized I do have pink in my home: these flowers I used to decorate the toilet.
The morning after a gentle shower and the spider webs were abundant. Or maybe I could just see them because they were wet and glistening in the morning light. The sun was just starting to peek over the trees when I spied this jewel on my back deck. I threw a turquoise and pink towel over the porch railing behind it to turn them into pink pearls.
A gerbera in its prime, looking like it has been been sprinkled with sugar strands. Olympus Pen & Leica 45mm f/2.8 macro lens.
"Queen Elizabeth" pink rose grown in my garden.
These roses are just beautiful, a very delicate pink and they are just starting to bloom with the warm weather.

OK, so, I'm not normally a floral photography guy, but I figured I would take advantage of limited time that the cherry blossoms will be in bloom. There are a couple of huge cherry blossom trees at Bellevue's Downtown Park that are just exploding with pinkness and begging to be photographed. So, I obliged with a few shots. This one is from underneath the canopy of blossoms. Very pink and very fragrant. :)

this is a pink Ginger Torchflower. The previous post was the red one.The leaves of the torchflower look like Canna leaves. I have seen plants that were 6 to 8 ft tall. The flowers are large too, almost 30cm across.
I saw this very beautiful and fragile Flower in the Frankfurt Botanical Gardens, right in the middle of Germany. The Frankfurt Botanical Gardens are a small tropical paradise in the center of this bustling city, offering a place of silence and peace. Macro photography once again offers beautiful insights into the fascinating little things we pay so few attention to.

Dart's Hill Garden Park had an open house today. It was a grey drizzly morning so I took the fastest lens I have the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 D. Thinking I should use this lens more often.
Other than conversion from RAW to JPEG this is pretty much SOOC. I really like the bokeh!
I liked them so much I had to add some more!
Candy heart box for Valentine's Day. Lid brushed with luster dust and pearls added to the little flowers. Inside I put some store bought gummie hearts.
