I need to research what kind of bloom it is exactly. All I know right now is that it came from a cactus and that it is gorgeous!
UPDATE! I found out what kind of bloom this is! Orchid Cactus - Epiphyllum
They come in all kinds of colors, but I was lucky enough to be given this one. It only lasted a day and then ended up wilted, even when set in water. I was hoping to get more shots of this with a black background, but will have to wait for the next bloom in 4 months or so. Oh well!

121/365 Days in Colour
I realized I do have pink in my home: these flowers I used to decorate the toilet.
Pink rose in the morning sun at Roxborough Park Rose Garden in Baulkham Hills, north-western Sydney, Australia.
"Queen Elizabeth" pink rose grown in my garden.
These roses are just beautiful, a very delicate pink and they are just starting to bloom with the warm weather.
Check it bigger.
OK, so, I'm not normally a floral photography guy, but I figured I would take advantage of limited time that the cherry blossoms will be in bloom. There are a couple of huge cherry blossom trees at Bellevue's Downtown Park that are just exploding with pinkness and begging to be photographed. So, I obliged with a few shots. This one is from underneath the canopy of blossoms. Very pink and very fragrant. :)
