From our courtyard, where Cathy has created an oasis of colors and life during 3 years of extreme drought in central New Mexico.

{Note: nearly all our flowers and plants are either drought resistant, native to the region, or generally require modest amounts of water; and are kept alive at need with drip irrigation).

I enhanced the colour a little by adding a pale pink fill layer & using "soft light" blending mode.

This breast cancer Pink Ribbon charm is beautifully handstitched with swarvoski pink bi-cone beads and one big white bead on the felt charm. This is a must have gift to buy yourself or to give to others so that they can support breast cancer awareness.

Not only that, it is also perfect little gift item for supporters, co-workers, girlfriends, daughters, survivors, granddaughters, etc.

While family members were shopping in Walmart, I decided to take a stroll through the garden center and take pictures of the flowers for sale. I've always been fascinated with gerber daisies and this pink one caught my eye...

About the 401st:

The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade also handles the responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan to support evolving missions. We are the single link between Warfighters in the field, and working through Army Sustainment Command, we leverage Army Materiel Command’s worldwide Materiel Enterprise to develop, deliver, and sustain materiel to ensure a dominant joint force for the U.S. and our Allies.
