I went through the covered market today on the way between Cardews (for almond tea!) and the healthfood shop (for all sorts of stuff), and passed this little death row here. Every other person who walked past while I paused to photograph them seemed prompted into telling their companions how sorry they felt for the poor lobsters. Me too, obviously..
Pippin recently got the board game Caverna, and this was our first time trying it out. It's really long, but rather satisfying!

One of our favorite things in NYC is to go to Cafe Orlin for brunch. I absolutely love their millet pancakes. I can't even describe how amazing they are (so much better than regular pancakes). Well, I was searching around the internet and finally found a recipe for these pancakes! So I made them today (although I substituted some healthier ingredients) and they were awesome!
My lovely nasturtiums which are growing in my old wellies. They flowers taste lovely, those that the slugs haven't already eaten!
In order to celebrate my first shave with a straight razor, here's a shot of my new equipment. I tried to give that old-style looking with this dark-sepia conversion.

Catch up with a very old friend today. She has been living in Scotland and is in New Zealand briefly before moving to Australia. We have a lovely lunch with lots of laughs.

Not pictured: Prince Rainier. Prince Rainier is the fattest-ass fly I've ever seen in my whole damn life. You can see every element of his buggy little body. He's also notoriously camera shy and fast as balls when he wants to be.
The lab borrowed another new headset to aid in the quest to purchase new equipment. That's the current headst on the right looking at the new one, and it's a flash photo, meaning the retroreflective tracker blobs look very bright. I had issues with this one not interacting well with my glasses, but the others seemed to get on really well with it.
