Daily Shoot: Rotate your camera today a bit and make a slightly off-angle photograph. Use the angle to emphasize your subject.
I laid down in the grass on my back and looked behind me holding the camera upside down. It was really weird, but so effective.

Walking to work this morning. This is the second day of my three days of having to walk. I am quite enjoying it - today was much warmer than yesterday. It pours with rain later in the day though and I get completely soaked while at lunch.

it was our first day in interlaken. we walked around the very small city for a couple of hours to explore the main streets. then Brit and i hiked up the Harder trail to see the snow. after a nice hike of taking photos, we walked back down the mountain to go ice skating. the rink was actually indoors unlike i had imagined it but it was just as fun, even better actually because the ice was smoother. after an hour on the rink, we rushed to the rental shop to get our equipment and gear for tomorrow's skiing. it was hell, dealing with probably a hundred other people doing the same. after we finally rented all of our equipment, we went to a restaurant to have cheese and meat fondue for dinner. it was so delicious and exactly what i wanted to have while in Switzerland. then we returned to our hostel to go to bed early cause tomorrow we have to be up at 6:30am!
We go out for brunch for Geoff's birthday. I get the ricotta hot cakes with lemon and passionfruit curd again and Mum suffers meal envy. My brother and his girlfriend both serve us at various points of the meal and we discuss Mum and Geoff's honeymoon plans.

Pippin and I went up to Birmingham to go and see David in a fantastic production of The History Boys with the Crescent Theatre there. He was amazing! This was taken when we went for an early dinner a couple of hours before their opening night :-)
Miri and went on one of our Saturday Abingdon excursions for craft shops and charity shops, and also played a bit of Ingress there. This is a bricked-up window I liked near the playhouse.
It's officially winter - the outdoor furniture is being put away. It is a long weekend for Queen's Birthday. Sleep in, proof-read Rob's assignment and go visiting.

I'm not sure what nature of beasts these snow critters were, but they were chilling happily on a bench near the Thames, between the allotments and Botley Road, as I cycled past on my way to work.
