...you know you are doing a photo a day when you find yourself in a cemetery at 3pm on a rainy Thursday afternoon!
There's a price on my head!
No, really. This is what I owe for the privilege of being an American in 2008. I hate being self-employed sometimes.
(Don't even try to figure out what I earned based on this number. There was some serious TurboTax magic involved. The number was a complete surprise to me too, albeit a good one.)
i really hate packing for a vacations … i really do.
so today i was thinking about what to pack for Sydney and what not.
Walk up to the art gallery for a meeting. Swipe Rowan's umbrella but manage to miss the rain anyway so stop for a photo of an old favourite.

This was actually far yummier than it looks in the photo! It's french onion soup with broad beans and french beans in :-)
You can see rest photos that took today on my website at this link www.thebrewstop.co.uk/october-2022-day-gallery/31stoctobe...

Outside the big market in Mysore, which was bustling with shoppers, this being the day before a big harvest festival.
Day 59
Moved offices to a new place in Newburn. Has a funky little pond right outside, tried to photograph one of the many common toads (think that is what they are...) but that just wasn't working out well. As I had just quickly popped out only had a chance for a rushed shot, will defo shoot around here again when I have more time!
Off out tonight to the comedy club to see Robin Ince so knew I had to get something during the day.
I got some mitten-esque slippers today at the Salvation Army and I'm trying them out tonight. After my long run and before an early bedtime it's nice to feel all snuggly and cozy. I had a semi-lazy day, I walked a lot though and I went running to compliment my afternoon of watching kid chef championship on netflix and eating salmon dip on crackers.
Another day where I nearly forgot to take a picture.
When I pressed for creativity, I tend to break out the tripod and head outside for some long exposure shots. I love the work of Troy Paiva (LostAmerica) and similar photographers who take exposures lasting minutes in complete darkness. With my Fuji SLR, I'm limited to only 4 seconds. Oh well, just another reason to upgrade soon.
This photo was taken in almost complete darkness (a little moonlight was available). It is of a retaining wall in my backyard. I like the way it appears to be a sidewalk leading off into the distance.
Check out Troy Paiva's photos at www.flickr.com/photos/lostamerica/ or buy his book "Night Vision: The Art of Urban Exploration" at tinyurl.com/cx4yhz
