Hank Green pulled lots of cute faces at me and my camera when I was accompanying Tom in the book-signing queue after the "The Fault in Our Stars" event with John Green, at which Hank was the guest star :-)
The trees on Gloucester Green looking distinctly flame-coloured. This was my third lunch out of the office in a row, this time with Matthew (former tute partner and now co-worker!). I'm getting used to lunchtime breaks now!
This is Miri's partly-sewn-up prototype for her Star Trek dress uniform, made in black lining fabric, and beautifully flappy at this point!

Tampa Bay sunsets are so sensational they even make parking lots look good.
CHEAP GIRLS - "Parking Lot"
Are you standing up or sitting down?
I've got news to deliver to you and you're not gonna like the way it sounds.
I've gone straight under and I've ripped the sails.
I've buttoned my lip with liquid nails.
I crossed my eyes and then I started falling right down in the parking lot.
There's a Sunday rider on the corner every weekend.
He makes his run, counts, leaps and sits.
It always crosses my mind when I start sorting out the lost and found.
Tonight I'm gonna spend just laying down, smoking all the pot that I just found.
It was laying on the ground in the parking lot.
I'm gonna set sail in a different sea, 'cause I can't clean up for anything.
Crash landing's never been too good to me.
I'm just standing in place making a mess of things.
warning, men at work. :P
not to sound sexist or anything, but I did see this warning accompanied by a man in very ill fitting shorts working on the automatic doors at the bank last week. a warning indeed!
I thought our little food waste box (which we empty into the food waste caddy that the council collects was looking particularly pretty and colourful.
"Happy Thanksgiving ... Don't Eat The Mascot"
lol... one of the best Thanksgiving greeting cards I've seen this year!
This is what a Raw Vegan Thanksgiving looks like in our house. I'll try to name off the dishes ...
mashed cauliflower "potatoes", homemade dill pickles, marinated mushrooms, olives, kale chips, holiday cranberry salad, corn, pesto stuffed mushrooms, gravy, cranberry sauce, whipped sweet potatoes, herbed pecan stuffing, carrot pecan patties (dehydrated and used as "turkey slices"), green bean casserole.
And of course, you can see our cute stuffed Turkey "Mascot" ... next to the photo of our adopted turkey, Olive. It's our tradition to adopt a turkey each year, more info found at www.adoptaturkey.org
Hopefully this one will stick!! Ticks almost every box but definitely helps with my plan for car free living.
