The bull moose ate at this lake for almost an hour while the light struck the mountains of the Eagles Nest Wilderness, Colorado.

====='ABOUT THE UNSEEN INNSMOUTH' CONTEST=====
WELCOME to the FIRST ANNUAL "UnSeen Innsmouth" Photo Screen-shot Contest. Anyone who can take and submit a screen shot, based on the rules provided below, is welcome to participate.
Prizes are awarded for the best in each category through a two-step process -- a judge's panel and then public voting in the Innsmouth SIM. The contest begins now and submissions end midnight SLT, January 5, 2015.
Voting to determine the winner is described below.
There are FIVE categories, each of which is open to YOUR interpretation of same, so be creative.

It would be to your advantage to understand the background of Innsmouth in order to get a creative, winning screenshot.

Photo SUBMISSION: Contest starts RIGHT NOW, and ENDS January 5, 2015 at midnight SLT.
Judge Review: The panel of judges will review all submissions and come to a decision of the 3 best entries for each category to be voted on by the public.
Public Voting: Starts January 9, 2015, ends January 17, 2015 (Saturday) midnight SLT.
AWARD CEREMONY: Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 12 noon SLT.

A prize of L$1,000 will be awarded to the winner of the best individual photo screen-shot in EACH category, along with other smaller non-cash prizes. [So a total of 5 prizes will be awarded for a total of L$5,000 in cash alone].
This stuff is a little bit different than my normal. A bit of a challenge without CS5 and my Wacom tablet. I feel like I'm drawing with boxing gloves on. I'm using LR4 and freetrials of the Nik software.

It is kinda hard to find a single tree in the boulder pile area, and finally I got this one against the sun light. It was at noon, but the contrast isn't too bad for the shapes.
