We reopen Círculo Center and look for the best photography. Creativity and originality as well as photographic talent will be valued. We look for unique photos that differ from the others.

6. The theme is a surreal-themed dream.

Your best shot of you. We want you to take a picture of yourself. The way you like to see yourself in Second Life. Look for a suitable place on one of our regions (be aware, there are also skyboxes). The purpose of this topic is to show how different avatars can be in Second Life. Therefore we would be happy if you make an effort to put your avatar in the right light. It doesn't matter if it's a furry, an animal avatar, a fantasy creature or a human. You may also rezz items for support. But please be careful and check beforehand how many prims are still available in the region and, above all, please collect all of your rezzed items after taking your picture.
To be able to rezz, you need to be member of the Angel of Pain Group.
The cost of joining the group is L$300. We will refund the amount if someone only wants to participate in the contest and has no further interest in staying in the group (please contact Susann DeCuir).

Rules:
One photo per person (self-taken).
Only photos taken on Angel of Pain or Café SCHLAGfertig will be accepted and this must be CLEARLY recognizable.
The LM (Url) of the respective region must be inserted under the picture.
No Adult Photos.
Some minor editing is allowed. However, heavily edited pictures will not be accepted. One should recognize, that it was taken in Second Life.

The photo has to be set to SAFE, so that also Flickrstream owners without Pro can participate.

I know, 2 months of no posting, then two days in a row. What's up with that?
Well, with the Aperture Academy now open, my hectic schedule has eased, be it only a little. But enough to give me a chance to go back and look at my images from my two weeks in Colorado, which also gave me a chance to revisit some of my favorite places, such as the Zion Narrows.
If you've never hiked the Narrows, you're in for an amazing experience. It really is a rare place on earth and I'm lucky enough to have hiked it now 3 times. This time I did it from the bottom up and only went a few miles with a couple spots in mind that I wanted to capture. While the fall color has not made it way into Zion National Park it was still amazing.
This capture is of a little bend in the canyon where a few trees call home. I like this scene with the water flowing in from the left and the strong color constrast of the greenery against the fabulous orange canyon walls of Zion.
Well back to looking through the images I took. I had such great weather on that trip that allowed me some amazing scenes to capture, and that I did. It's actually a lot of fun to look at your photos weeks after you take them! It's like reliving the trip...heck, some I didn't even remember taking. Scary.

Just as these little ones will soon test their wings and go out into the big wide world...I am about to do the same. Made my last trip to the Marsh for a while but, alas, it is always calling my name so I will surely return to the place that has held my heart so gently over these past few years.
