A perfect summer day in Alaska. These guys looked like they were taking full advantage of Alaska in the Summer. I love the color of the river and the contrast of the yellow boat. Only thing that could have been better is if I had been in the boat too!!
Nature has a way of creating perfection and it always amazes me.

We visited the Houston Zoo, with the Houston City Pass. Was a beautiful day at the zoo!
The zoo has a great collection of reptiles, primates and a great aquarium!

I did a PDHPE assignment on body image a while ago and that gave me this idea.
This photo represents that in today's society appearance is a major factor in success or something as simple as fitting in. Young girls develop eating disorders because they want to be thin and beautiful like the women they see in magazines or on TV. We should be encouraging people to be proud of who they are and that true beauty is on the inside, not just the outside.
I'm really happy with how this shot turned out :D. It's exactly how i pictured it, and that never happens

I have recently looked trough all my flickr photos and I think this one is my favourite out of all of them because of the meaning it holds is one I feel very strongly about, the way the meaning is conveyed and because its one of the first photos that i was really pleased with. i just thought i would add that here :P enjoy
