Perfect Minimal Xeriscaping - Of course such a planned xeriscape for one's front yard requires years and years of time for the trees to get large enough to produce such abundant yellow flowers and the actual prize environment will only last a few weeks as these palo verde trees and flowers are in full bloom, central Phoenix, Arizona.

with the perfect kenner glow.

Just a perfect day,

Drink sangria in the park,

And then later, when it gets dark,

We go home.

Just a perfect day,

Feed animals in the zoo

Then later, a movie, too,

And then home.

Oh its such a perfect day,

Im glad I spent it with you.

Oh such a perfect day,

You just keep me hanging on,

You just keep me hanging on.

Just a perfect day,

Problems all left alone,

Weekenders on our own.

Its such fun.

Just a perfect day,

You made me forget myself.

I thought I was someone else,

Someone good.

Oh its such a perfect day,

Im glad I spent it with you.

Oh such a perfect day,

You just keep me hanging on,

You just keep me hanging on.

Youre going to reap just what you sow,

Youre going to reap just what you sow,

Youre going to reap just what you sow,

Youre going to reap just what you sow...

A beautiful Triangulate Orbweaver that was hidden in the leaf.

Well, I think it looks like it is. Plenty of rocks for them to sit on!

It's funny, but, though nobody ever told me this, I always thought of those funny wavy lines of seaweed left behind on the beach after a storm as mermaid's necklaces.

Al lado de las manazas de Sagart, Arga no parece que tenga tanta pechuga XDDD

Ya sabéis lo que siempre digo "teta que mano no cubre, no es teta sino ubre"

...pues aquí hay suficiente mano, hoyga XD

Always have problems with autofocus, looks like my lens is front focused. This one is manual with focus confirmation by viewfinder.

I found - I snapped - I left

My first experience in shooting dancers albeit with an inadequate lens. I had to use ISO1600 most of the time to get a semi-decent shot! I used my Canon 18-55mm IS Lens. However I still like the way it turned out, after some CS3 magic.

Seeing Laurence Bell of Domino Records being interviewed on BBC TV news the other night about the huge sucess of the Artic Monkeys brought back memories of seeing Perfect Daze at countless local gigs.

In "autumn 1988" (so it says on the prints envelope) I took my brand new Praktica SLR to the Old Times to see if I could make it as a pro rock journo. The answer: No.

Here's Laurence (left) along with Scruff (now of course international rock star with The Adicts ;-) on guitar

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

A running school girl interrupting my picture taking, but i like the essence of the picture regardless. The little girl creates a nice effect. Life captured still.

Super8 and Tab feat Alyna - Perfect Day

I wondered if you noticed

As I pondered on emotions I sold

I wanted recognition

When I planned a low position in life

So I talk to all the angels

And I pray that they will listen to why

Why I need the understanding

Why I need the non demanding divide

This is not illusion

I don't need intrusion

Let me have my perfect day

These feelings of elation

There's comedy in patience

Now let me have my perfect day

I was born to break the silence

Anti war and violence, pro life

When they say the day is over

I have theory that is older than time

And there are plans that are above us

And we can demand that lovers unite

Like we are floating on an ocean

I am calmed by your devotion tonight

This is not illusion

I don't need intrusion

Let me have my perfect day

These feelings of elation

There's comedy in patience

Now let me have my perfect day

The 'perfect' English country-house estate, set in its own magnificent deer park, Belton was designed to impress. Built in the late 17th century for 'Young' Sir John Brownlow, its honey-coloured symmetry, opulent décor, fine furnishings, stunning silverware and gorgeous gardens provided the perfect setting for lavish hospitality and entertainment on a grand scale. Each generation left its mark, employing top designers, craftsmen and portrait painters. At the heart of society, the family enjoyed royal connections from William III to Edward VIII. Did they achieve perfection? Judge for yourself as you explore and discover many fascinating layers of Belton's history.

The "Italian garden", Orangery and Church. The Orangery and "Italian garden" were designed by Jeffry Wyatville in the early 19th century. The church contains tombs of the Brownlow and Cust families.

Perfect Pussy playing The Firehouse. Their first show in the state of Alabama and the city of Birmingham. Could not hear her vocals for even a millisecond....aside from that huge oversight they played really well.

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas...

The first snow of this season, just in time for Christmas! It's predicted to melt before the day is over tomorrow, but at least we'll get to wake up to several inches of snow! =)

For right now, though, it's pretty blustery and coming down rather fast. I got this picture from our front porch about an hour ago: you can see the golden glow from our cozy, lantern-style drive-way light and you can just make out the pin oak in our front yard.

And somebody just now went off the road and into the ditch. Not such a happy Christmas Eve for them. Samuel, Ethan, Naomi, and Joshua have all gone out to try to help them, but the ditches are so deep around here, I'm pretty sure it's going to require a tow truck.

Merry Christmas, everybody, and drive safe! =D

A perfect weather day: warm temperatures, not a breeze, not a cloud in the sky. This trail does not come with lots of great views, but still a lovely walk. Just over 9 km's of return distance walking, gaining altogether around 240 m's, and taking 2 1/2 hours to do so.
