The perfect combination: fitness & donuts. The newly opened Dunkin' Donuts, at 75th & Metcalf in Overland Park, is only a few feet from a 24 Hour Fitness.

My girlfriend spotted this flower in the mountains of 인제 (Inje) in 강원 (Gangwon - do) and was surprised to see it's perfect form with all the dying plants around it. Couldn't resist a snap
At the end of the day, this picture is the best moment that happened.
today was going pretty good, didn't do much. Got to play pokemon and watch CSI, then went to the store and got some groceries.
On our way home it was going fine, then some stupid lady hit us! Yay, just a few weeks after my mom's car got fixed. She was in the wrong and rolled through the stop sign and t-boned us. No fucking joke, she told me "I stopped, looked both ways and didn't see you" A BRIGHT ASS RED CAR, she didn't see THAT. What the hell?! HOW.
Now we're down a car yet again.
Went to work and that helped calm my nerves, because I was freaking out and shaking. Then after that we had the all-star softball pool party! It just ended at 10pm.

Oh It's Such A Perfect Day,
I'm Glad I Spent It With You.
Oh Such A Perfect Day,
You Just Keep Me Hanging On,
You Just Keep Me Hanging On..."

if you have never made a book with blurb, you need to! it's fun, easy and can link with flickr to make uploading sooo much easier. you can make them public and set a price-so people can order them. i know there are some of you who take awesome shots of houston that would make a great coffee table book, that i would BUY! most of my family either received a photo book or calendar as part of their christmas gifts.
my husband LOVED this book.... it is full of pics of him and our son . you can choose a photo for the back cover, too. it is one of the two of them (also from the back) walking thru the trees at discovery green. i was quite proud of it!
AND-- this is me-- christmas morning, in my new robe and slippers that santa brought.
Now this was a delight. Only a day after witnessing a pair of Southerns I was blessed with encountering a pair of Migrant Hawkers throwing some shapes in the reeds. Once again they were too busy to be bothered by me and I managed to rattle off a few shots of which this is my personal favourite.
The male is the one at the top and the female is the one at the bottom who's head is partly obscured by the tail of the male. The tail of the female is completely obscured. When you consider the male is the only one with a purchase on the reeds he certainly has some strength...

Perfect disguise - truly disguised in black
The explorers left with the words of the shaman ringing in their ears: 'Before you leave this valley, each of you will be wearing a duck."
If you tell me where this is from, I'll know I'm not the only nerd in town.
On a side note, looks like people enjoy my self-portraits way less than my other stuff (toys, still-lives and abstractions). I even got a question why all of a sudden my photos went quite disturbing. So I think I should keep doing selfies until I improve enough so that you like them even if they are pulled out of some dark corners of my mind.
PS. I know the duckie is cropped out, but it was totally unintentional. I promise you'll see him whole in near future.
