I'd love to have a studio like this, taken while visiting Panama

Upstairs is the perfect little room. It used to be the office. This is the reason for my personal attachment to this particular place, and why I gave it my own special name. I had a mind, in the spring of '05, to move in here. I never liked the North Quad of CSUMB, where I was living at the time. This place though—it's quiet, clean, close to the road and to school, with access to the roof-cum-patio, it even has a bathroom with running water. In fact, though I never figured out how to activate it, I know this building is still hooked up to the electrical grid. There's a small fan downstairs that's been running... well, probably since the army left. It can be turned on and off with the giant breaker switches downstairs.

I spent one night here. But I went back to my dorm, and I chose to live there. To this day I couldn't tell you why.

I've never seen anything like it.

This beautiful orchid was grown by my friend Ann here in New Hampshire. Loved the pastels with a dash of vibrance.

They're turning 10 this week!

Winter came very early in 2015 (and autumn returned after a week) so we could enjoy the first snowy weekend and our first cross-country ski excursion in late November.

A tél nagyon korán elérkezett 2015-ben (és egy hét után vissza is tért az ősz), így már november végén megvolt az első havas hétvége és az első sífutás a Bükk-fennsíkon.

Please take a moment to like my new Facebook page. Thank you!

Greetings from Barbie Land! Inspired by Ken’s character in Barbie: The Movie, this Ken doll is wearing a beachy, striped matching short and shirt set. With a surfboard in tow, he’s having the best day ever in Barbie Land! Celebrating Barbie: The Movie, this Ken doll makes a great gift for fans and collectors alike.

When I was at school, I was never a prefect but all my friends were. I never wanted the responsibilty of turning up at parents evenings etc. However, because I hung around with these people all the time, the teachers assumed I was a prefect too. Which meant I got to stay inside on lunch breaks but never got called up for after school events. It was great! I always said I wanted to get a badge that said Perfect instead of Prefect. And now I have :)

This is a photograph from the first running of the Mullingar Half Marathon which was held on Tuesday 17th March 2015 St. Patrick's Day Lá Fhéile Pádraig in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland at 11:00. Just under 600 people participated in the event which was a wonderful success on the event's first running. The event was in aid of the charity Childline. The weather was perfect for distance running and the course was a perfect mixture of town, flat bogland country roads and a long stretch along the beautiful Royal Canal. The race started on Austin Friars' Street and finished in town park beside the Annebrook Hotel.

Our full set of photographs from today's event are available on Flickr at the following link https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/sets/72157651394365962/

Your mobile, tablet, or desktop device will also offer you several different options for sharing this photo page on your social media outlets.

We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. Our only "cost" is our request that if you are using these images: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us.

If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.

I want to download these pictures to my computer or device?

You can download the photographic image here direct to your computer or device. This version is the low resolution web-quality image. How to download will vary slight from device to device and from browser to browser. However - look for a symbol with three dots 'ooo' or the link to 'View/Download' all sizes. When you click on either of these you will be presented with the option to download the image. Remember just doing a right-click and "save target as" will not work on Flickr.

I want get full resolution, print-quality, copies of these photographs?

If you just need these photographs for online usage then they can be used directly once you respect their Creative Commons license and provide a link back to our Flickr set if you use them. For offline usage and printing all of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution.

Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.

You will find the link above clearly outlined in the description text which accompanies this photograph. I would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?

Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers or in other circumstances we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs

We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?

The explaination is very simple.

Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.

ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.

Creative Commons aims to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

Don't like your photograph here?

That's OK! We understand!

If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.

I want to tell people about these great photographs!

Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

View along the river. My perfect day - any day in London taking photos in sunshine, but especially when I go on a river trip.

TMSH "song title" - "Perfect Day" (Lou Reed)

In idle dreams of long ago,

I imagined my true love;

A perfect match, a soulmate,

An angel from above.

When life is cold,

I wrap myself in your warmth,

nestled in your love,

my perfect refuge.

Terrible picture (and seriously, I leave them alone for one minute!) but I wanted to show you how awesomely they puffed. I'm not much of a pita-stuffer, but these lovely pockets may turn me into one.

or such was the comment from the first person who saw this shot... And, now, thanks to jon, also the first person to comment on it on flickr. :-)

In psychiatry thought disorder or formal thought disorder is a term used to describe incomprehensible language, either speech or writing, that is presumed to reflect thinking. There are different types. For example, language may be difficult to understand if it switches quickly from one unrelated idea to other (flight of ideas) or if it is long-winded and very delayed at reaching its goal (circumstantiality) or if words are inappropriately strung together resulting in gibberish (word salad).

Psychiatrists consider Formal Thought Disorder as being one of two types of "thinking" or "thought" disorders. The other type being delusions. The latter involves "content" while the former involves "form". Although the term "thought disorder" can refer to either type, in common parlance it refers most often to a disorder of thought "form" also known as Formal Thought Disorder.

It is usually considered a symptom of psychotic mental illness, although it occasionally appears in other conditions. For example, pressured speech and flight of ideas may be present in mania. Clanging or echolalia may be present in Tourette syndrome. Eugen Bleuler, who named schizophrenia, held that its defining characteristic was a disorder of the thinking process. However, Formal thought disorder is not unique to schizophrenia or psychosis. So-called “organic” patients with a clouded consciousness, like that found in delirium, also have a formal thought disorder. However, there is a distinct clinical difference between the two. Schizophrenic or psychotic patients never demonstrate awareness nor concern about it because it results from a fundamental inability to use the same type of Aristotelian logic as everyone else doeswhereas so-called “organic” patients with a clouded consciousness usually do demonstrate awareness and concern about it, by complaining about being “confused” or “unable to think straight” because it results, instead, from various cognitive deficits

A beautiful little fly that found a perfect place to spend the night.

I was coming home in yet another bout of snow and this song came on the radio at just the right time, perfect for a Holiday Greeting to all my flickr pals.

My Christmas Wish for you:

If you have to drive in a snowstorm, may you have a big-ass plow to lead you safely home.

They're turning 10 this week!

On Kevin's last day, we went out to find something sweet for him to put a candle in, as his birthday is coming up soon and I won't be around for it :)

He decided on an OMGSOPRETTY red velvet cupcake. It was... really, really delicious.

I know there is no such thing as "perfect" but there are some things, moments, feelings very close to it......

At least this is the way I see it......
