A PN intermodal comes swinging around Weri

I love how cozy my kids beds are. I could sleep in their room with no problem. I was washing my girls bedskirts today and after they dried I came to make their beds and discovered that they were way too sweet to not take a pic.

Hace tiempo que no editaba una fotografía escuchando música, había olvidado que una melodía y una fotografía aveces calzan perfectas en nuestras mentes.

Venia en el metro de vuelta del trabajo escuchando el ultimo disco de Steven Wilson y escuche la canción #PerfectLife, inmediatamente imagine una de las fotografías que había sacado el día de ayer en el barrio Concha y Toro. Llegue a mi casa, abrí el computador, puse la canción y edite esta puerta de hace 100 años aproximado, imagine mirando hacia el interior.

Hoy luego de unos días de editar esta imagen, volveré a escuchar #PerfectLife, pero esta vez en vivo, sin duda disfrutaré el concierto y recordaré esta fotografía.

A perfect weather day at the beach in La Jolla. La Jolla is an affluent neighborhood in San Diego, California. It is a hilly seaside community, occupying 7 miles of curving coastline along the Pacific Ocean within the northern city limits. I sat in traffic for an hour trying to get into the area to photograph the wedding bowl while white puffy clouds were in the sky. When a tourist decided to set up a tent on the wedding bowl grass, I took my camera to find a new subject...the beach. DSC_9379A

This one was really hard to spot, his movements gave him away.

The owner of this property really took pride in his paradise. The garden had great attention to detail! Seems like every tree was pruned and any imperfect leaf was plucked! His pond (yeah he had a huge pond) was perfectly oval.

As I passed, there he was (an elderly gentleman) grooming away at his perfect garden.

Christmas is near and I've been thinking of how to show our customers what they can do with their stationery and how to enhance the moments. My perfect notebook is composed of a Moleskine soft cover 18 months diary, a blank Moleskine, Authentics' PenClip, an Italian 4 color ball point pen (though I wish it can be a roller ball pen) and a clasp from Japan. I displayed the combination 2 days ago in our gallery and put up a POP showing customer what's in the combination.

I also stamped "The Times" press logo using gold pigment ink on the cover of the soft-cover Moleskine which created a classic look on the perfect notebook. The stamp was actually a letterpress stamp I bought from London, originated from the Fleet Street where the press was situated years ago. Gee, I'm hooked on Stationery really :)
