Chacoalhadas bem compensadas!! hahahaha
The perfect view, perfect timing, the end result of a week of coordination in order for me to be in the right place to get this photo. I waited until the last chance I could get to drive to Stone Mountain before the time change. The park opens at 8am, which is 20 minutes after sunrise, at least it is for a few more days. I got there on time, and hard hiked up Wolf Rock mountain, trying to get photos right after sunrise. The rock pics didn't turn out anywhere near what I had hoped, the shadows and solar glare made them all light and shadows to the point of the trees being too dark to make out and the sun being to bright to be able to lighten the photos without being painful to look at.
But when I got to this place along the way, the crest of the mountaintop above Wolf Rock itself (The trees are thinned out here due to the lack of soil above what is on its way to becoming be a heather bald, then a stone dome Like Stone Mtn across the valley.) I looked up and was simply stunned. I thought at the time that this will be the most remarkable photo I have ever taken. Everything was perfect; the colors, the sun, the trail...its a picture that tells a thousand stories, and all of them have a happy ending. I will look at this and remember what true peace and beauty is like. I am happy I can share this with you, and I hope you know a little of that for yourself, from the viewing.
Color pictures of all Omnigears in Characters and Gears section. Why they didn't put that in the Perfect Works has always been a mystery to me

This morning sunrise was gorgeous and I can't wait to share more pictures from it. I was more or less interested in the burn of the clouds and how it contrasted well with the bridge.
As I was taking the shots, two big rigs, both going opposite directions came into my frame. At the same time, a pigeon flew by in my frame as well.
Quite the lucky picture!
As David says, "one of my #luckysnapshot of the day."
n late May we had taken the 7:38 train from Paris on a perfect Saturday morning, and the stars of the show had been the irises, poppies and late bulbs in the main garden and the rhododendrons and deciduous azaleas in the water garden across the road. When we returned in September, we were staying in Giverny, so we were able to visit the house and gardens in the morning and then return just before closing time.
The succession of plantings to early autumn meant that the dahlias, nasturtiums, sunflowers and other late season flowers had taken the stage. The mostly cloudy conditions also made for a contrast from our sunny visit in May.

In the moth world, every strategy is valid to survive, even to disrupt the ordinary silhouette and look like anything but a nice meal.
