I tried one of those gadgets that is supposed to cut pineapples into spirals - and it worked perfectly! I will try to take a better photo before I eat the food next time. ;-)

Maroon Bells in Maroon Bells/Snowmass Wilderness, Colorado. Photo taken the morning of October 1, 1979 using a Minolta SLR, telephoto lens, and Kodachrome 64 transparency film. The weather was mild, skies crystal clear, and the fall color at it's peak. It was outstanding! I'll never forget it.
