Added a touch of colour with my first ever playsuit, looks like a short dress but it's short sleeved and perfect for the warmer weather and I still get to enjoy feeling the lining of my coat against my bare arms. 😊xxx, ❤️

I love the paths along the dikes in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge. A great place for a stroll after an amazing last long weekend of the summer.

Male Cardinal on Deck
After leaving work early due to Fridays snow storm, I set my camera up with my long lens and aimed it out an upstairs window with no screen. In this shot the male Cardinal landed on my deck and had a perfect white snow backdrop.
Not my usual photography post. Today was just so perfect weather-wise, that I just had to share.

My sister and I both had the day off so we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather we're having for once :) We went strolling around her neighbourhood, had coffee at the cutest lil' Coffee Shop (which we actually just discovered..) and shot some photos while we were at it :) Just a very lovely day in general.. <3

Saturday the West Coast Railway Heritage Park became the perfect venue for our friend's celebration of life. Sheila and I, along with a very large proportion of Squamish residents, gathered to show our respect and love for a remarkable person: Doreen Ramus. A friend of my mother, a friend of ours and a friend of half the town Doreen was a mother, nurse, adventurer, raconteur, actress and a lot more.
Sun poured through the very tall windows where the steam engine is exhibited. There was standing room only.
The juxtaposition of the snow outside and the pussy willows inside held my attention. The little scene was beautiful.
Doreen was 91 when she died earlier this month. A year ago she published her autobiography: My Life's Journey www.amazon.ca/My-Lifes-Journey-Doreen-Ramus/product-revie...

I've been on retreat in our Dominican sisters' convent at Stone in Staffordshire. To my delight, it was only a few miles from Cheadle - Pugin's most perfect church.
He called it "Cheadle, perfect Cheadle, my consolation in all afflictions", and intended it to be "a perfect revival of an English parish church of the time of Edward I".

Today my day is to based on sitting in a Chair around the table together with loved ones. I love cities, I love Madrid and its streets full of people I love. But also I'd like to live in a House surrounded by the field.

I am thinking of upgrading my flickr acct. to pro. My older photos gets deleted every time I upload a new ones, and I don't want to delete them either, though I know they aren't really good photos. :) I just hope I can recover those photos that were deleted.

I was fooling around with my camera on the beach, as you do, and accidentally took this photo. I hadn't noticed that this woman was there. ;-)
To me, she really Is perfect! She was born on Rememberance Day, 11th. November - hence her name, Poppy! She is our 'Little Flower.'
