I love that Brazilian Leopard tree.
It has perfect shape, yellow flowers in summer, and also it has very valuable hard timber.
And it has a beautiful name! : Libidibia ferrea
Pity, Brisbane council do not plant them anymore in Brisbane, because it is not Australian native, and many people dislike them because of "messy" hundreds seed pods if drops - read comments below!
My photo of seedpods here: flic.kr/p/6vn6NU
Bristol wheel / hub, it takes you back to see the old set up over against the the spigot & collared wheel nuts, just remember swinging on that wheel brace to get another 'crack' from the nut!! Lol!
i don't know about their relationship. may be they were on date or just friends or engaged/married couple. the important thing for me was the way they were having perfectly nice time togather, as if each one got the pertfect date. for me, it was the right place (my favourite amrai restaurant with most beautiful panaromic view of the palaces), right people, right backdrop and the perfect morning light.

Had a walk along Harlech Beach just down from Porthmadog. The stones and pebbles seemed to be laid out perfectly, something I'd never seen before.
There is a lot of info here, and in some cases there isn't. What I have noticed in 5 months of translating is that there really isn't all that much more in this than in the game. Sure, they flesh out Eps 3 and 4 a bit, and we do get the name of the Captain in the opening movie, but if you're like me, I expected just a little more. Call me ungrateful. Especially when you consider the game was not completed, just rushed through. The ending was just a kick in the a*s.
The good and bad thing about being able to read this is that the mystery is now gone. I know what it says. Some things I wanted to find out just aren't in here. For example, what happened to Yui when the world was destroyed? We have Dan and Midori, but Yui just disappears. That's where I have a bone to pick with PW. The section about Yui leaves off with her still waiting in Shevat for Citan to come back. It's like the team of writers that put this together didn't have all the info, which is inexcusable.
The other thing is: 85% or so of the information in this book is in the game. I'm not joking. Seriously. It's in the part where Fei and then Citan and then Fei again are sitting in that chair talking, and talking and . . . .
It was 8 hours of game time to click through it all, but when you have played the game several times and made a graphic script, you kind of discover it on your own.
The game was perhaps not the right venue for a story of this magnitude, and it's plainly obvious from this book that they were still hashing out facts right up to the game's publication. An unfinished masterpiece.

Taken from Twin Peaks in San Francisco this evening. I took this shot after I had packed up my 4x5 film camera... It was the very first time I shot with my Shen Hao TZ45-IIB! I shot two plates, but I get the feeling that I screwed up on something... I'm not entirely clear how the Bulb setting on the shutter works on my lens, a Fujinon W 210mm lens. I think I'm gonna need more practice with the 4x5 before I head out next time. There are so many steps in my mental checklist that it's easy to miss something. However, it was way cool looking through the ground glass with a magnifying loupe... I just hope that amazing detail makes it onto the film! (With how busy I am, it might be a few months before I get this film developed!)
I walk in the room just at the right time to catch Cheesestain giving birth :) Madagascar hissing cockroaches carry the ootheca (egg case) internally and release the nymphs once it hatches.

San Giorgio Maggiore is a 16th-century Benedictine church on the island of the same name in Venice, northern Italy, designed by Andrea Palladio, and built between 1566 and 1610. The church is a basilica in the classical renaissance style and its brilliant white marble gleams above the blue water of the lagoon opposite the Piazzetta and forms the focal point of the view from every part of the Riva deli Schiavoni
