Typical 8-Point Whitetail Buck - Shenandoah National Park, Virginia
This particular Buck grew a perfect 8-point symmetrical rack each and every year. Note the date this photo was taken (2/20/11) - and still sporting full headgear. But in recent years, December is the month that mostly all Big Meadows Bucks lose their antlers.
One of the 3 Amigos, of which only one remains alive. RIP 8-Pack.

Just got a Canon 70-200 f4 lens mug! It is a perfect match for my 70-200 f2.8 (coffee is never bad with photography)! I really hope Canon continues making lens mugs. I want an 85 f1.2 mug even if it would be more of a soup bowl.

There’s nothing like a great roast chicken for dinner. Incredibly juicy and flavorful with a lovely crispy skin. It’s easy and hearty enough for a casual weekday night, but elegant and delicious enough for any dinner party. The only recipe I use for roast chicken is Thomas Keller’s “Mon Poulet Roti”. So simple, it’s hardly a recipe, but it never fails to deliver a perfect, exquisite bird.

My first ever photowalk with PPA and the first ever exposure to hardcore photography.
Just a random shot I selected for uploading and getting some critique on, the sun was coming in to the lens, and I had the polarizer hand-held infront of my lens (after learning about it from the very kind Mr. Niazi). Tanveer sahab with his E-620 was coming across this path, this was almost the end of the Rohtas visit. Kindly let me know of the flaws (there must be many) and the flawlessnesses (IF any).
Problems till now:
1. Radial Blur [Pointed out by Taufeeq Elahi Diju] Shouldn't have existed

I am always amazed by how well a Red-breasted Nuthatch blends into their local surroundings. Considering their size of about 4 1/2 inches long, it makes them very difficult to spot. They are always such fun to find and photograph. This one was having a little lunch when discovered, while working his way down the tree.
Best viewed on black.

Went to Artscape today for the first time. Took so many photos! Loved these little mouse sculptures that are from a short film called "Perfect Houseguest" by Ru Kuwahata & Max Porter. Check out the film - it's under two minutes long and totally adorable.
The first time it's been above freezing in a couple weeks so I checked out some trails near the house. They were great.
How could I improve the quality of this capture?
As I was taking a sunrise shoot, a hot air balloon came right over the house!

The evening at camp was perfect. Gorgeous light, calm water and perfect reflections. While the boys finished dinner I climbed up on the cliff and snapped a few photos.
