Just got a Canon 70-200 f4 lens mug! It is a perfect match for my 70-200 f2.8 (coffee is never bad with photography)! I really hope Canon continues making lens mugs. I want an 85 f1.2 mug even if it would be more of a soup bowl.

As sun gets to set down marking the end of the day, RPM WAP-4 22961 with its marker lights lit brings in the legendary Island express from Bangalore City.
What a way to travel: driving around India in a mint green old Fiat Padmini Premier 137D without mirrors. You need some skills in adapting to the traffic (and the not perfect functioning car), it's quite rewarding once you start touring.
A perfect sunset on Gokarna Beach, an hour or two drive from Goa.

There’s nothing like a great roast chicken for dinner. Incredibly juicy and flavorful with a lovely crispy skin. It’s easy and hearty enough for a casual weekday night, but elegant and delicious enough for any dinner party. The only recipe I use for roast chicken is Thomas Keller’s “Mon Poulet Roti”. So simple, it’s hardly a recipe, but it never fails to deliver a perfect, exquisite bird.

I saw this couple at the end of the jetty (see previous photo) and snapped a few shots. They told me he had just proposed when I showed them a shot on the camera. I then retreated to give them some privacy but with the intention to ask them an email address to send the picture to. That never happened because I lost track of them. I realise that the chances of them being on Flickr or there being a Flickr member out there knowing this couple that got engaged on Mauritius that evening are minimal...
One of my favourite shoots - an amazing model, fantastic location, perfect weather (although cold) - what could be better? Artistic nude black and white photography in a derelict series of disused buildings.

Went to Artscape today for the first time. Took so many photos! Loved these little mouse sculptures that are from a short film called "Perfect Houseguest" by Ru Kuwahata & Max Porter. Check out the film - it's under two minutes long and totally adorable.

This is my friend Nat. She works at American Apparel and I swear, her sense of style is out of this world. I wanted to do a photoshoot inspired by the video "Perfect (Exceeder" by Mason vs. Princess Superstar because I am obsessed with the song as well as the video. I've been wanting to get into doing more studio work and this was my first big studio shoot. I had the help of my friends to make this scene look (what I think is) pretty legit. The lighting was a bit hard to get worked out, but I feel like there are a few strong shots that really made this all worth while. More to come!
