Camped out here for two nights and had great weather, great views, and the wife even liked it too! Going back this Thanksgiving.
really happy with this, taken in my cave play ground once again.
when taking this it was thundering but i didnt know this so i thought the caves were starting to fall in around me !

On a beautiful autumn day, Stagecoach in Cumbria Optare Solo 47002 - KX51 CRV approaches the village of Hawkshead working a school time extra short journey on route 505 from Ambleside to Coniston. The bus came to the Lake District from Stagecoach Midland Red and is allocated to Kendal depot.

You cannot get a morning looking much better than the scene here at West Plain as the California Zephyr as clear signals toward the tunnel district. The head end is approaching Tunnel 2. The trees have a light dusting of snow on them after six inches fell yesterday during a storm.

I have a friend who loves in the most perfectly pure way and with his unconditional love makes me feel perfect and very loved too. This is for him. In my own way I love you - I hope you know that. x
The colours at the beach were just perfect today. It was lovely and warm with a cool breeze blowing. I love these days. I would've liked more waves - it was completely flat with hardly any splashes. O well, there's always tomorrow... :)

I first saw the bluebird on the new sanctuary sign from my kitchen window (my usual “blind”), but it was the back of the sign that was visible. I knew I couldn’t go outside or open the garage door or it would fly away, so I walked to the far side of the garage and took this angled shot on an overcast day through a window I don’t keep nearly as clean as my kitchen window, so it’s not as decent a shot as I’d have liked, but I thought it was just perfect that he stayed there long enough for me to take this photo.
