I bought a bunch of tulips yesterday, and realized there were two of them that were slightly different from the rest.. this is one of them, the little line of green is what makes it different.. a perfect bloom, with a little imperfection..that's perfect!!
This is pretty much straight from the camera, a slight crop and tiny adjustment in contrast was all I did.. lighting courtesy of Mother Nature, a tripod was used ( thank you David!!) and a remote shutter release..

Always good to see a Yellow-shafted Flicker on Flickr. This male gave me a good look as he was making his daily rounds. Normally they do a quick stop and go, but this one was much more obliging.
In the series of a perfect sky this is the third picture. Shot is taken at the heathland of Formerum on the island of Terschelling in the Netherlands. What I mean with a perfect sky, is just a personal opinion.
A nice cloudy sky with a kind of "cloud street|" It's in nice contrast with the green colors of the landscape.

Autumn is so beautiful in the Adelaide Hills. Just driving around in the early sunrise offers some great country shots over rolling hills of vineyards.
I'm sure this photo would be much better with the lens flare edited out but after a few attempts with my limited PS capabilities I reverted to the orginal and left it alone!
