Found this staircase flanked by wooden doors by the promenade in pondichery and thought it would make for a nice pic. Had to wait for over an hour at the nearby ice cream shop before this little bundle of joy came by....

The camera couldnt handle the contrast of the scene(or maybe its me) so i brought a little oil painting effect so that i dont lose this cutie....

Liz peeking over the side of the pier.

I would have sat around and waited for the sunburst to come through the keyhole and bracket away...but I was having a blast with the filters and wanted to get back for the end of the game. Hopefully I'll be back in a couple days.

Just a little break from all the editing of a recent shoot.

As the sun sets on Cocoa Beach it plays a game of peek-a-boo with the trees.

The SUPER MOON is totally obscured by clouds. So I went with a different photo op.

The Minnesota Zoo has an event they call "Snacks with Santa" in December. It's fantastic event and afterward we go wander about the zoo. This year the weather was awful. We were late but made it safely to the Zoo.

There were so few people who braved the weather that afterward we wandered about and literally had the place to ourselves! We went long stretches of time (20 minutes) without seeing other visitors. This means the animals were more themselves than usual.

The two Canada Lynx were particularly active and playful, chasing each other through the fresh snow and bounding about. Here one of the lynx is about to spring across the enclosure to surprise its companion.

This is the grey squirrel who has frequently come to my apartment windowsill for the last 2 years, cutely taking a peek inside my place. Unlike the black squirrels who visit, she is less mindful of my moving about while she eats...but shyer about coming in.

She recently lost at least half of her tail, the poor dear (how, I don't know) but the fur has grown back on the part that remains, and she seems to have adjusted well. I took this shot this afternoon, in between her snacking on some plain Cheerios I'd put out for her.

Best viewed large or in original if you want to see the details. I'm pleased with the clarity of the shot, given that squirrels aren't known for staying still and I was using the full 4x zoom on my Canon Powershot SD850 IS, without a tripod. : )

That one face among a group of people seems to draw me in. Taken a couple of years ago during a hike. I don't know what tags to include. If you think of any, add them.

These are telephoto shots of the animals at Dodge Park in Sterling Heights, Michigan. All are taken with the 40-150 (80-300 35mm equivalent) telephoto kit lens that comes supplied with the Olympus E510.

Image stabilization on, hand held for each picture.

I hope the colors / brightness / contrast etc. are OK, hard for me to tell on my laptop's mediocre LCD screen.

Mirador

Plywood, Timber, Perspex.

Price $35.000.

The reflective interior skin of the Mirador observatory juxtaposes images of self with views of the environment. Highlighting the complex relationship between man and nature.

Southeast Asian culture is strongly connected to the sea. Boats are oftentimes unique windows on the traditional values of the people. Designs are always patterned to cultural styles and demands. For the the Mekong Delta boats, an unusual feature is a pair of lurking eyes painted on the bow. Whether from the side or straight upfront, the eyes look at you, staring, and perhaps to the passengers, guiding.

A young Razorback Band member is in line, but can't resist a little peek to see what's ahead.

This female purple finch was singing a lovely song and occasionally peeking out from behind the blossoms.

Sorting out some files on my PC today and stumbled upon some RAW files that I never got round to editing. This shot was from back in 2012. A quick edit today and another shot for the archives.

Part 2 of Briana's maternity's photo shoot this past weekend with family included. Here's her son Nolen 18 mos old peeking at her belly looking for baby brother. Super cute. I love how he's trying to stand on his teepee-toes to peek.

From this low angle it's really risky to lift my miniskirt. The intention is to show you my lacy stocking tops, yet this is a delicate balance and I lift my skirt just a bit too high and inadvertently reveal my panties as well. Or maybe not so inadvertently; a little mischievous possibly? I'll never admit the latter so we'll just say it's a mishap. Not a bad one though as I'm wearing decent satin panties that look pretty. Their green color is not identical to my dress, but they're equally soft and shiny and it's the closest I can get from the wardrobe that I have with me today.
