Our NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) Tiffany trying to hide from my camera. Not really. She was just playing. This is what the teachers in our school do between lessons. Maybe she was hoping the kids wouldn't be able to find her.

This kid was in the pen with it's mum....just like most young animals, and goats, it was a curious fellow. Here it is peeking it's head between the wooden slats of the gate into it's pen.....made us giggle.

Loved the slit of light peeking through this tulip as it sat in the low light of the family room.
Still busy with my Dad but he has greatly improved and we are hoping he gets into rehab to build his legs up strong for golf. Happy as well today as our youngest son is returning from a 4 month trip away to south east Asia and New Zealand...he climbed mountains, glaciers, snorkelled, scuba dived, sky dived, bungie jumped, did meditation and yoga in the temples of Ankor Wat and slept in huts along beautiful beaches...now I would have loved the beaches...LOL! So proud of his adventurous spirit but so glad to get him home with us once again...

We watched the two young owls over a couple of days. They left the nest and flew to different trees. then they would hop and climb around and fly to another tree,
Sun pokes through. A slightly different picture from my other in the same place. Not sure which I like best so thought I would post this one too and see which people like best?

I was doing a timelapse at the train tracks, hoping for a good sunset and a train or two. I got the latter, and for some reason, both of the trains that passed stopped before crossing the road. Each time someone got off the train to do a quick check of the tracks, then they hopped back on and the train went on it's way. Of all the times I've been stopped at this crossing, I don't think I've ever seen that happen.
Shot with my favourite, the SMC A 50 1.7, after taking a short morning walk to the nearest peak, the Teufelstein in my home village.

Visited with Wiffsmiff23. A permission visit to a local sma-ll, volunteer run theatre and cinema in a local town 30 minutes away. Two hours spent exploring inside and some time in the projection room to finish as a bonus.
This is the oldest theatre site in Wales. It was extensively refurbished in 1927 but as it retained the basic structure of the Victorian building it can claim to be one of, if not, the oldest working theatre in Wales. The present building stands on the site of what was The Bell Inn, the history of which can be traced back to at least 1794. More history can be found here: www.monmouth-savoy.co.uk/history/

This is my ABSOLUTE fave from this session. As usual, we time our sessions knowing where the sun will be; Asad noticed this angle and we just had to stop and get some crazy cool backlit photos with some sharp sun flares. Yes, there's artistic post work done on this photo, but a lot less than you'd imagine ;) Yes, the sun's real, yes, the blur's real...just some texturing & color touch-ups added...
