A Chinese opera singer peeks out from the back of the performance tent.
Guilin, December 2008.
Note: A lesser man than me would have included a 'Peek-ing Opera' gag but I have succesfully resis...bugger.
I've always enjoyed walks in the forest across my student dorm in Stockholm. The forest hides some of the mesmerizing nature's gems within it. Sometimes the gems come out to play peek-a-boo with the visitors.
Hiding amongst vegetation otters can be difficult to spot. There is no doubt they spotted me and disappeared in an instant.

Collared dove peeking out of the ivy in the overgrown area behind our garden. First shot with my new lens - I've been waiting for quite a while for the new Nikkor 500mm PF. So far I'm quite impressed with the performance, and it is so easy to carry around! D7100_67010.NEF. Many thanks for views, comments and favourites.
The squirrel kids are out of the nest hole and learning how to fend for themselves. Much as I hate to admit it, they are hilarious - - - Peek-a-Boo(ty)!
Not been on flickr much recently, boo! I have been doing lots of dog walking though, and turning the camera on my furry friends when I get a chance. My sofa was covered with cheese and dog biscuits for this shot. Maybe I better have it cleaned soon :)
Here's the only other usable photo in which Crunchy stayed still enough. The other few shots of her were unfortunately blurry due to her running around the house.
The game Peek-A-Boo has thrilled children forever with its magic. We all played it in our day. Now it's Arlo's turn.
This Cat likes to hide in my garden.
It has it's eye on me and dislikes my camera, but I like to take photos of it hiding like in the wild ?
I can see you
And I know what you do
So put your hands on your face
And cover up your eyes
Don’t look until I signal
Peek-a-boo! peek-a-boo! peek-a-boo!
The way that we weren’t is what we’ll become
So please pay attention while I show you some
Of what’s about to happen
Peek-a-boo!
I know what you do
Cause I do it too
Laugh if you want to or say you don’t care
If you cannot see it you think it’s not there
It doesn’t work that way
As I headed home from 3 hours of blissful shooting peace in the snowy woods..thinking I'd missed some decent sunset shots for the cold and deep walk to the edge of the ridge, (sky was stark/clear anyway) I spied the setting sun peeking through these trees
sweet!

I found this little frog peeking out of the water at me one day while taking pictures by a pond. I thought he was kinda cute! =)
....the little one steals the show for the big one ... hahaha ... I found this scene funny as the little goat curiously intrudes behind the big Watussi ox into the picture.
I did not register it during the capture because my attention was on the huge horns. Only later did I see the goat kid and laugh ... such a little beast ... haha
===================================================
By the way: The Watussi cattle
Striking are the very long horns. The length of well over 1m with a circumference of 50cm at the root are not uncommon.
They are bred by the African Tutsi as pets and are not slaughtered because they are considered a cult and status symbol.

Our NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher) Tiffany trying to hide from my camera. Not really. She was just playing. This is what the teachers in our school do between lessons. Maybe she was hoping the kids wouldn't be able to find her.
