On Thursday, August 27, Stevenson University’s Office of Career services held a Part-time Job Fair. During the fair, students were able to network with a diverse group of local employers and Stevenson faculty and staff to learn about a variety of job opportunities.

Started my stranger project again. Meghan is a senior student from University of art. She was reading a book when I saw her and she was a little surprise after I asked for a pic, but she agreed with pleasure.
She studied print making in the university, because of my poor english, she spend a while to explain what's her major. She had a part time job in an book binding studio and also in a clothes store. She told me that after graduation she can stay in the studio and became a employee. I think that's very good that you can find a job which you like.

I've been working lately. I am now officially helping in our family business's printing press and I do a part-time job by accepting photography services. Feels great to feel tired because I'm so loving what I'm doing now.

I imagine this is what parents see when leaving their children at the daycare for the first time. While it's not the first time Lucy has been to a boarding facility, this is the first time at this particular one. I started a part time job at a day care/boarding facility a few months ago, and as we are going away for the thanksgiving weekend, I thought this was the perfect place for Lucy to stay. So, I took her for a few days this week while I was working, to introduce her to the place. Unfortunately, Lucy is a little...ummm.....'clingy', shall we say, as in glued to my side. As you can see, even me on the other side of the fence is cause for major drama. Little does she know, tomorrow she goes on her own and I will leave completely. Actually, I know she will be much better without me there, the whining and theatrics is for my benefit, hoping I will rescue her. Without me there she has no one to whine at. Still, I can't help feeling just a tiny bit guilty. Poor Lucy (don't tell her Pyper gets to come with us)

While attending college I had a part-time job as a cake decorator. I applied some of these skills in my metalsmithing class during college and came up with some unique items. I also remember helping a friend of mine making some flowers with some decorating tools and clay in a ceramics class. It was so much fun, although I am not sure the professor liked that I helped her with her project. I had forgotten all about those moments until I started working as a part-time decorator again. I painstakingly made each individual rose with icing tips. I mixed some clay the consistency of frosting the best I could, then used it just as I would on a cake. After using the raku process, the results were fantastic! The colors are even more beautiful in person. Wonderful golds and iridescent colors. This is the smaller version of the rose vases I made. Use it as a bud vase or a pencil holder. Not meant for any kind of food.
George is an Englishman, and Arian is a Dutchman. Both fell in love with each other a few years ago during a vacation, and in 2010, George moved to the Netherlands. Last summer he and Joey met at the part-time job they both had, and we all became friends. Today, George and Arian got married in Gouda, and Joey and I were witnesses. It was beautiful, and I had to cry.

I've been on call for the better part of 10 years now in one capacity or another and I've worn a pager for that time. This week is my turn for the department and when my pager went off today while I was headed back to work after lunch, I thought something critical must be going on at the hospital.
I wrote a perl script that specific people use at the hospital (and one at home of course) and I know where the page is originating from, so when I read the sender and found that I was so wrong, I read the best page I've ever received: After 6 years of raising our two wonderful children at home and a part time job at a local small business in the past year, Fiona will be joining the SVH hospital team in two weeks working part-time in the Pharmacy!

This is where my recently retired dad works. Retirement bores him so he took a part time job to stay busy.
During this evening, the Blikopeners of the Stedelijk (young people with part-time jobs in the museum) examine the thin line dividing an original from a reproduction. Young musicians will cover Shocking Blue’s “Venus” (the Stedelijk was the background for the music video); photocopiers make it possible for everyone to determine the circulation of a work by Piet Parra; a continuous experiment examines the survival of long stories that are passed on orally; and there is a masterclass to answer the question whether art can be practiced anywhere and by anyone by following instructions. In addition, artists and employees of the Stedelijk give short talks to describe how reproductions influence their work. A selection of reinterpretations, odes, and appropriations in contemporary and video art will be on display throughout the building.
Central Campus Hiring Fair hosted approximately 30 Des Moines area businesses to interview seniors looking to enter the workforce. Seniors have participated in resume writing and mock interviews in preparation for the Hiring Fair to find full-time and part-time jobs.
The goal is to secure a job in a career path they trained for at Central Campus and to provide seniors with employment opportunities after high school graduation that lead to a life sustainable wage with benefits.

One thing about business is that, if there’s a need for it, someone will try to cash in on it. Big or small, there’s at least one person who’ll try to get the job done. For some, it may be a way to pursue their hobbies while earning; for others, they’ll do it only part-time since they have a regular job on weekdays.

Day 9 of 365
Today was one of those days where I wish I had a remote control just like Adam Sandler’s in the movie “Click” – at least that’s what I think the movie’s called. I caught up with a couple of girlfriends and we go waaaay back together; shared school memories and early part-time jobs in greasy chicken joints make for entertaining memories. As we reminisced about our past together, that remote control would have come in handy to view those shared memories...and to share in the memories that perhaps some of us had forgotten, yet the others insisted happened in exactly that way. Between the coffees, lunch and ice cream, we talked ourselves hoarse and promised not to leave it as long to catch up again next time.

I know this is not the best picture, but I am so tired!!! I work a part time job from home - usually about 20 hours a month. Well, to make a long story short, I had a program on my computer crash last week, and I had to uninstall the whole program and reinstall, losing half of my work. I know - I'm a dummy for not having a backup!!! So it has been a very long week. Not only did I work my 40 hour a week job, but I have been up every night until midnight and all day today, and I'm still not finished. I'm so tired of looking at a computer screen, and the numbers are not making so much sense anymore. I think I'm going to bed for the night.
While at my part time job last Friday evening, I was in Benkelman, NE in southwest Nebraska.A line of thunderstorms formed in eastern Colorado and extended into southwestern Nebraska ans northwestern Kansas. At one point, we had five severe thunderstorm warnings and four tornado warnings in the area where i was. The lightning was amazing but the rain started 20 minutes after I set up the camera and I barely got everything put away before the sky opened up.It was an amazing show and I was really disappointed I only got these three crappy pictures to show for it...
