Last year I was working at Jack in the Box, we all get name tags that

we have to wear when ever we work. I got promoted to a TeamLeader,

which is sort of like an assistant manager. With this came couple of

new responsibilities. Aside from that I also got this name tag. This

name tag is a different color and has my job title that shows that I

am the person in charge, that I am the "Authorty" figure when I am

there.

Things I haven't been worried about the past few days:

- my 365 project (I missed a day ... maybe two)

- money (yay)

Things I have been worried about the past few days:

- Job situation

- other things related to job situation, such as how I'm going to maintain my current (part-time) job obligations if I do get a new job, and how I'm going to need more of those obligations if I don't get a full-time job

- starting a photography website to build a portfolio and to try to make it a side business (also related to job situation)

- too many social obligations

- too many obligations in general

Bleh.

I need a vacation. But with my work and Joey's upcoming meetings and job trainings (he took a different teaching position, it's happy), there's no time. Meh.

I'm already looking forward to Friday, as it's the only day I don't have to work.

So, as I'm falling deeper into this hobby, I've decided to cut my studies in half and go to school part time and get a part time job.

I have my very first job interview on Friday. And I am more than nervous since I've been a full time student after I graduated high school.

And since I'm so nervous, I decided to take some pictures of Luna to help calm me down.

Day 79/365: Workaholics

Workaholics live in this house. Both of us have full and part time jobs. Call us crazy.

The boat operator/tour guide (and a small horse statue on the tiller). His narrative for the tour was just about right, at least in my opinion – plenty of historical information, but not talking constantly and leaving plenty of time to just observe. Like some other tour guides I encountered on this trip, this was just a part time job and apparently with no desire to do it full time. If I remember correctly, his other income was from self-employed carpentry.

High school students from throughout the state participate in Jump Start, a three week career development program for students who are blind or severely visually impaired. The program is sponsored by the Department of Human Services Division of Services for the Blind (DSB) and the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ASBVI). DSB placed students in part-time jobs in the mornings and paid them minimum wage. Students participated in educational and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings. Students stayed during the week on campus at ASBVI. The program is designed to assist students in transitioning from high school to employment or post-secondary education and increase their confidence in social situations.

My name is Chithraiselvi. I am doing my B.Sc computer science 1st year. I want to become a computer programmer. I have a father, mother, one elder sister, and two elder brothers. But my family situation is not good now. My elder brother ran out from my family. My second elder brother went to work after his 10th standard. Because of our poor economical condition, my sister couldn’t continue her studies. My mother wishes to send us to higher education but our family condition doesn’t allow this so my sister went to job. My father is a drunkard. He left his job and is in the home for last two years. My mother and father managed family expenses by getting loan outside. So we are in high dept now. My second brother do not give his salary for family, but spends unnecessarily. My elder sister only manages family by her salary. But with her we couldn’t manage the whole family expenses and debt. That’s why I asked Sudar to help me find a part time job - which they did. Now I am working in a medical shop in the mornings.

I am doing my DTP and Spoken English class at Sudar. Those courses were very much helpful for my career. Sudar offers me those courses for meager fees. Sudar offers me a scholarship too. Along with this scholarship I manage my study expenses with my part time salary. I use Sudar computer for my college assignments. Normally my mummy wont prepare break fast, even she prepares it would be late for my part time job. So I go to job with empty stomach. When I return back from job I will take my lunch and go to college. So evening I feel very hungry normally. So I come to Sudar and take evening snacks. My working place is ½ kilometer from my house, so I walk from my house to work. Sudar is the same distance. So I come by walk to Sudar.

I never imagine I would go to college, because of my family’s economical condition. In my 12th standard holidays I did part time work and earned little, with that amount I got my college application and applied for B.Sc degree. My school teachers helped me for paying college fee. With the help of Sudar scholarship I paid my semester fee and bought my college books. I love Sudar very much."

Yes. Her (the aspiring novelist, Harper Collins). Well, I decided to take the weekend to fire up the game and play around with her a bit.

During her first week, I got her a part-time job at the spa-slash-bookstore so she can earn a bit of money on the side while she works on her novels. Within moments of her arrival to Appaloosa Plains, she got a phone call from future wife Honey Darnell (now Honey Darnell Collins) to give her a copy of her latest book once it's out.

Long story short, her first novel, "Book #1 - Freeze! Who Goes There?!" immediately catapulted her to fame. From there, the paparazzi (and strange ice cream truck) has been stalking her everywhere she goes. Because she's a "mean-spirited" Sim, I had her kick the paparazzi's ass.

She won - in case you're wondering - and The Ice Cream Man caught it all!

Games used: The Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, High-End Loft Stuff, Fast Lane Stuff, Outdoor Living Stuff + Town Life Stuff.

"I'm sick of imagery instead of artistry,

think of apithy Instead of harmony,

I'm sick of poet's working part time jobs,

while pissy people pick and choose the stars,

I know that I should be the last one to speak about this,

but even sell outs have there dreams,

set the music free"

I've been kinda rushed on my photography lately, and the heat is unbearable. I haven't actually had time to stop and think out these shoots, but im going to start putting more effort into them.

‘When I saw that I'd got all As, I couldn’t believe it! I was so relieved, happy and proud. It shows that all those long revision sessions and hard work do pay off. But it wasn’t just me, without the support from my teachers, family, classmates and friends, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. They pushed and encouraged me to reach my full potential and for that I am very grateful. Hard work, dedication and organising study around a part time job, sports and music activities allowed me to get the grades I wanted.’

During this evening, the Blikopeners of the Stedelijk (young people with part-time jobs in the museum) examine the thin line dividing an original from a reproduction. Young musicians will cover Shocking Blue’s “Venus” (the Stedelijk was the background for the music video); photocopiers make it possible for everyone to determine the circulation of a work by Piet Parra; a continuous experiment examines the survival of long stories that are passed on orally; and there is a masterclass to answer the question whether art can be practiced anywhere and by anyone by following instructions. In addition, artists and employees of the Stedelijk give short talks to describe how reproductions influence their work. A selection of reinterpretations, odes, and appropriations in contemporary and video art will be on display throughout the building.

Central Campus Hiring Fair hosted approximately 30 Des Moines area businesses to interview seniors looking to enter the workforce. Seniors have participated in resume writing and mock interviews in preparation for the Hiring Fair to find full-time and part-time jobs.

The goal is to secure a job in a career path they trained for at Central Campus and to provide seniors with employment opportunities after high school graduation that lead to a life sustainable wage with benefits.

To me Michelle was one of the awesome beauties at RHS. I did try to get close to her but she was heavily shielded by her parents. I walked her home once from school, but other than that her parents picked her up by car after school, and after her part time job at night at Bradlees. Because of that my opprtunities to interface with her were near zero because of these situations, but we did get to share an intense kiss onetime, and it is something I will never forget.

Tomorrow, I'm trading in my 2 year old cell phone tomorrow for a new one with a cameraphone that presumably takes way better photos than this one. To be fair to the phone, I DID drop it down my stairs sometime last year and broke off the lens. Whoops.

I am thankful they are looking out for my refuge needs, which are many.
