The Hecht Department Store opened its first suburban department store in Virginia in 1951 in the Parkington Center out in Arlington County, Virginia. Hecht's was designed by Abbott, Merkt and Company. The building is still a department store as a Macy's and Parkington Center is now Ballston Quarter.

This is my son Landon. He is very in to super heroes...specifically Batman and Spiderman. I couldn't resist getting some shots of him dressed up in his Halloween costume. It wasn't the easiest thing to get him to pose for me though. He just kept wanting to be done but he stuck it out and after 50 or so frames, we finally got one that I was happy with!
