Got two notebooks for cheap to cut up into lined paper for my notebook. One has blue lines, and one has green lines. I like that because it will give my notebook extra personality without being obnoxious or clashing with other bits I might put in.
Okay, it's a couple of paper cups giving me one reflection. I'm not sure if these are for Lewis's forthcoming birthday, for Easter or maybe they were from Lauren's baby shower ~ whatever, I found them in a kitchen cupboard! You can see I put a lot of thought into this shot ;-)
Going to try and catch up with my ODC comments, today!!

I folded this model from the picture here with some help from the author to complete the 3rd, 4th and 5th rounds that are not on his model (actually my 5th round is incomplete because I run out of paper on the sides).
It has an interesting radial simmetry. Quite original.

Paper clips strung together to make a picture hanger. The idea works like this: Attach a sufficient number of paper clips to stretch from one wall to another. Attach clips vertically where you want to hang photos and other pictures.

I stumbled onto this adjunct of "The Foundation Library" totally by serendipity way up on a top shelf in the very back of a wonderful second-hand book store. I already had the books mentioned in this oversized folio of "The Juvenile Artist" and had no idea that this poster/activity book even existed. It had been folded long ago, of course, so many of the pages have been split at the fold. I still love it! One cover may be missing, so I cannot give a date for it.
A third position possible by my 15 degree angle transformable swan coaster/brooch - OK so maybe the name needs some work!

A great group from St Johns with St Marks were in making paper sculpture with Howard from Artists in Schools. I was really impressed with some of the work they came up with. Great stuff
These figures are in the works. I made them from chocolate molds. The molds are 2 piece 3D molds. I fill them with fast drying paper mach pulp. They take days to dry and then they need work before they are ready to paint...filling air holes, sanding seams...They shrink as they dry so you lose some of the details and the shape changes sometimes.
It began life in the Ardennes mountains of Belgium where the battle of the bulge was fought. This was the bloodiest battle of WWII for America.
Now that it has been neutered it is just an interesting piece of history.
