Paper test print. I only have a B&W printer. The dark grey around the outside was my guide, sorry if it’s distracting!

Paper toys in the toymuseum in München, Germany.

Paper toys were for families who couldn't afford tin toys.

oh i thought gold fish = koi carp for long time!

Great model that combines the traditional crane with Fujimoto's Hydrangea. Thank you Oschene for providing the sequenced CP.

Folded from a square of 20 x 20m cm of coffee filter paper.

One of my daily occupations at work is cutting paper. For example posters, folders, leaflets, etc. One of the machines we use to do so is a hydraulic cutter.

You can adjust the length of your object with a joystick and a small wheel. With a light-bar behind the knife you can aim at the cutting-line at your object. Then you use a foot controlled pressure bar to pin the object to the table. After that it's "all clear" (the knife is very sharp and it will cut your arm clear of) and you use the two green buttons to make the knife come down.

I'm trying to make some more machines that I work with, one, because it's a challenge and two, as details for a later larger moc.

I hope you like it and please feel free to rate a comment!

I'm doing yet another Scutigera model from thinner paper, but I'm not sure which kind to use. So I'm asking you guys: the top sheet, gampi (only a 40cm square, but nicely textured--I can make it work) or hanji (~55-60cm and slightly thinner)?

My first year paper model

Got two notebooks for cheap to cut up into lined paper for my notebook. One has blue lines, and one has green lines. I like that because it will give my notebook extra personality without being obnoxious or clashing with other bits I might put in.

Bradford Paper Hall. Built in 1643 as a private house it is the oldest building in central Bradford. The title 'Paper' maybe a corruption of Papist Hall during Catholic times, or that it might have been the first building in Bradford to have paper walls. James Garnett bought it in 1794 and installed Richard Arkwright's hand operated looms in the loft. Garnett is said to have brought the industrial revolution to Bradford, and he built the Barkerend Mills.

A mix of vintage atlas paper and vintage sheet music from a hymnal book. I love these circles! :) These measure 1 inch. I can also do 1.5 inch. I have an assortment of papers too, if you need something just ask :)

Okay, it's a couple of paper cups giving me one reflection. I'm not sure if these are for Lewis's forthcoming birthday, for Easter or maybe they were from Lauren's baby shower ~ whatever, I found them in a kitchen cupboard! You can see I put a lot of thought into this shot ;-)

Going to try and catch up with my ODC comments, today!!

Getting my paper crafts on these days :) My desk at home.

Paper clips strung together to make a picture hanger. The idea works like this: Attach a sufficient number of paper clips to stretch from one wall to another. Attach clips vertically where you want to hang photos and other pictures.

This is what the back looks like before you remove the paper with tweezers.

Thank you to wombat quilts for the great pattern...I will definitely be playing with more of these!

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated

This photo is taken through a paper towel roll. Looks kind of like a galaxy, doesn't it?

I made six variations of this, but I couldn't decide which was best, so I uploaded the whole shebang. Feel free to take a look at them and let me know which you think is best.

Hundreds of paper cranes adorn the entrance of the Stata Center. A lovely way to remember Officer Sean Collier of the MIT Police.

I stumbled onto this adjunct of "The Foundation Library" totally by serendipity way up on a top shelf in the very back of a wonderful second-hand book store. I already had the books mentioned in this oversized folio of "The Juvenile Artist" and had no idea that this poster/activity book even existed. It had been folded long ago, of course, so many of the pages have been split at the fold. I still love it! One cover may be missing, so I cannot give a date for it.
