Thanks for your time.
Brown/cream crocheted toilet paper holder. Same pattern as blue one posted yesterday but used 2 colors to showcase the pattern down the center. Change the side borders to a simple single crochet in lieu of the mini-shell ruffley look on the blue one.
Created by Patty Grazini as a historically accurate object to accompany her The Life of the Giantess exhibit.

This paper turned out to be very good. I believe the shop I bought it in will restock it.

The forests on the Indonesian island of Sumatra are witnessing some of the fastest rates of deforestation in the world. Over the last decade, dozens of pulp and paper companies have established themselves on the island chopping down trees and setting up palm oil plantations on the cleared land. These changes have far-reaching environmental as well as socio-economic impacts on the island communities that are so dependent on the natural resources and ecosystem services provided by the rainforests.

I wanted to do a model that was a Cubic version of Thoki Yenn's Diabolic Frame . I tried to apply the same concept to produce the center hole to each side but it didn't work. I ended up using Thoki's idea of the 3d right angles and Robin Glynn Eifel Tower trick for the negative cubes. Only the hole at the top goes through (and ends up on the bottom hole). The other ones are just potholes.
This model could also be thought of as a one piece makeshift Menger Sponge.

These tissue paper flowers are made from red tissue paper and repurposed sewing patterns. Each flower is about 4" across and the black pipe cleaner stem is about 8" long with a button threaded on for fun. Each flower is unique and the set of 4 will be randomly chosen from those I have on hand. Make great gift toppers!

Cover of the Pitch! A little diorama action. Everything was hand built out of paper and then photographed. Photo and art direction by Zach Trover (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ztrover/)
I'll post some "making of" photos tonight.
I cleaned up all of the scraps, and sorted them into the bins. I added a table cloth and moved the cutter to the other side since I keep bumping into it every time I exit the room!
The shelf above the table is where I keep the shop merchandise. On the top are jars full of ribbon spools.
The little letter holder will eventually be painted, I just haven't gotten to that yet. It contains small paper scraps.
Found this old paper texture to add to the brief to give that old and wise feel...i hope it works out :|
