Finally. This model looks very much like the 3.4.6.4. tessellation but this one has its hexagons closer and that is why it is a flagstone.

Thanks to Joel for the tutorial

i'm getting really fed up with this one-a-day nonsense. i've got way too much to share for this, i think i have dreadful 'editing' skills in terms of deciding what i put up. imput? is it working, would you like to see more- are you getting bored. (i am. haha)

this is something i cut out of paper (with scissors) for my Typography Graphics project. :] in the style of 'mister rob'.

i got my lomo lca yesterday and took him out for a play. :] i'll post as soon as i get the film done. (his name is alfie!)

The Cultural Center had the most amazing exhibit of paper jewelry. This was the last picture I got before I got in trouble. (Apparently, taking pictures of the architecture/interiors is ok but it's not ok to take picture of exhibits.)

Critique welcome.

I think this is paper or card stock, but could be plastic. Seen in a store front display in Luxembourg. It might have been some kind of lamp shade.

Paper airplane replicas of world record flight duration holders. Left is Delta Belter (20.9 seconds) by Andy Currey, center is the current (as of 2007) record holder (27.6 seconds) by Ken Blackburn and right is White Flyer (20.9 seconds) by Chris Edge.

I built the Delta Belter and White Flyer according to templates included in Ultimate Flying Paper Planes by Andy Chipling. I built Ken Blackburn's plane using a template from Airplane Collectable Net Resource.

We were walking around Town Green Park in Duluth, Georgia USA after dinner and saw these paper cranes 🐦 hanging from a tree 🌳near the fountain. 💦 They had an Arts Festival here a few days ago, so the cranes were part of the festival.

A 19" square makes a 6 3/4" square model! I really want to make a much larger one but it will be hard to find a really big piece of paper - I think maybe 40 inches square will make about a 14-inch model ?

What a trip to have an ancient blog post photo go viral on Pinterest ten years after the fact! This beauty was included in a 2009 feature I wrote about Rag & Bone Bindery’s handmade albums and journals, AND owner Jason Thompson’s then not yet released paper craft book, Playing with Books. The woven paper basket is one of the projects and it was photographed by Karen Philippi. The hardcover book, I might add, is still available and doing well... no wonder as the other projects are equally gorgeous and besides, paper crafts are timeless!
